Procedure for FUT
The surgeon removes a strip of skin from the donor area during FUT surgery and it is dissected by his team into tiny grafts. In the meantime the surgeon closes the scalp with sutures. The surgeon then creates slits in the recipient area (place where there is scanty or no hair) and carefully places the grafts in each slit.
Procedure for FUE
During FUE, the surgeon removes the hair follicles one by one from the donor area with the help of a tiny punch. They are then prepared for grafting and are finally placed in the slits which are prepared by the surgeon in the recipient area.
You will be prescribed antibiotic and anti-inflammatory drugs for some days by your doctor. After a couple of weeks the transplanted hair falls out. But let us assure you that this hair loss is temporary and you will notice new hair growth within some months. It takes many months to see the final results.
Hair transplant has a high success rate provided the surgery is conducted by experienced doctors and high international standards are maintained.
