Improvements in lifestyle and the proper management of medical comorbidities are the most beneficial and safest treatment. Lack of physical activity, obesity, unhealthy diets, and cigarette smoking has all been shown to contribute to ED. Handling psychological issues which either lead to ED or which develop because of ED should be dealt with helpof a psychiatrist. Stem cell therapy though has a bright future is still under clinical trial. So consult an endocrinologist/councellor. Hope our answer helps you.

Dr. Babita Goel replied

4th November, 2019 at 05:22 pm

Dear Satendra, Transverse myelitis is an inflammation on both sides of one section of the spinal cord (in your case it is uncontrolled urine). This neurological disorder damages the insulating material of the nerve fibres which results in interruption of the nerve conduction system. Usually, recovery begins from 2 to 12 weeks of the first onset of symptoms and may continue up to two years. In case if there is no improvement in symptoms within several months then the recovery is difficult. About one-third of these patients show partial or full recovery. However, take one more neurologist opinion. Don't lose hope, regular treatment will be of help. Hope our answer helps you.

Greetings! My 30 year old son is currently under treatment for T3, T4 NO MO esophagus adenocarcinoma. He is on FLOT with 4 fortnightly cycles of pre operative chemotherapy. Two cycles are completed and 3rd is scheduled for August 31st. The 4th one will be on September 15. Post surgery (likely in 1st week of October) there will be 4 more cycles of chemotherapy. So far, my son has taken the chemotherapy without much complications except the usual nausea and loss of taste. After both the chemotherapy his blood pletlet counts remained within range with a slight fall in Hemoglobin and Hemoglobin concentration. His KFT and LFT also remained in normal range. I have read through newspapers about the availabilty of advance treatment in India through Dendritic Immunotherapy and stem cell therapy, I know it will be unfair on my part to seek your guidance merely by writing a small history. But I thought you may be able to guide me from here. As a father of a young son I am quite concerned about the recurrence of cancer. And, I would be grateful if you could elaborate whether Dendritic Immunotherapy or stem cell therapy could be one such treatment which we can explore. Also, please guide which are doctors or the hospitals who we could approach. In case you need any further information I will be able to share with you. Your response will be keenly awaited. Thanks
