As per my understanding you are having left arm pain post CABG, also your body becomes stiff. Whenever a patient is having Left arm pain espically with history of CAD, the first thing is to rule out cardiac pathology. Immediately visit a cardiologist. He will carefully evaluate the current condition of the patient. Differentiate between cardiac causes and non cardiac cause of left arm pain. Non cardiac causes can be treated medically; in case of cardiac causes a detailed evaluation is needed. Some diagnostic test may also be done to know the exact cause and decide on the treatment. Consult a cardiologist. Hope our answer helps you.

TA is also known as aortic arch syndrome. Treatment is medications and surgical approach like bypass, vessel widening and aortic valve repair or replacement. Hello, The accurate BMI is calculated as per height, gender, and age. Chest pain followed by unconsciousness can be due to various pathological reasons. To name a few it can be just stress-related, cardiac pathology, pulmonary (lungs pathology), cardio-pulmonary reason or even neurological. You please consult a physician who will analyze your case and will give you the needed treatment. If necessary he may further refer you to a cardiologist and a neurologist. Along with all the treatments, lifestyle modification will also be of big help. Hope our answer helps you.

Hi, I have been experiencing chest pain since Nov'18. Post which I have done 7 ECG test, a stress test and the results were normal. I was advised hyperactivity medicines, however the pain never stopped. I met a Gastroenterologist, who confirmed no issues. Than I met a cardiologist who suggested for 2D echo, did it, it was normal. Then I did sonography, stage 1 fatty liver observed. Than did angiography, no blockages observed, however the blood flow is slow. Now I am left with nothing... The chest pain still persists, post angiography I also feel numbness in my left arm. Don't know what to do. I was recommended following medicines post angiography... strovas Dilzem sr Pan 40mg I have already started following a proper diet. Avoiding junk food, extra salt, oil etc. This has started affecting my work and i am unable to deviate from the thought of the pain

Dear Prashant, Since all your reports are within normal limits especially, angiogram, which is a gold standard to evaluate cardiac pathology. Also, the Gastroenterologist has given you a clean chit. Sometimes chest discomfort can be due to anxiety and wrong lifestyle measures. You need to you have a healthy lifestyle. Regular and enough sleep is must and gadget exposure has to be minimised. As per my understanding, the patient is having LVEF 10% and is walking and talking normally (leading a normal active healthy life). To me it seems to one of the rare case where a person having LVEF 10% and leading active healthy life. You should consult a cardiologist and get the ECHO repeated either there may a mistake in the previous report or if it's a miracle then it should be studied further. Get in touch with experts from Best Cardiologists in Mumbai, or page of any other city. Hope our answer helps you.

I have learned about your institution from my relative. My relative suggested to inform the problem of my wife to your end through mail. My wife Swati Laha aged about 32 yrs was admitted at local hospital at Kolkata for elective LSCS on 14.02.19.At the time of Pre-Anaesthetic check, the doctor advised for ECG,Echocardiography and other allied test.As per ECG report " Right bundle branch block" found and as per Echocardiography report "20 mm ostium secundum atrial septal defect with left to right shunt.Good left ventricular systolic function.Mild pulmonary arterial hypertension." detected. The elective LSCS was done under general anaesthesia on 14.02.19 and female baby delivered. The age of my baby is about two months. In this circumstance,I am in dilemma what to do right now.I am therefore requesting you to kindly guide/ give your valuable suggestion for taking corrective measure of my problem as per ECG/ Echocardiography report.Kindly enlightened me of the following quaries. 1.Is it possible to recover without any surgery. If not, 2.What type of surgery need for 3.Is there need of any kind of test before surgery. 4.What would be the best time for her for surgery as my baby is only 2 months and she was operated on 14.02.19 5.How many days will it be taken to recover after surgery 6.kindly let me know the risk factor of different type of surgery for her problem.

Hello, Looking at your wife's condition we are of the opinion that she has a 20 mm ostium secundum atrial defect. The good news is that having a 20mm ASD is not an emergency case. The treatment can be postponed for 3 to 6 months.
There are basically 2 types of procedures for ASD Closure.
1) Surgical
 2) Device closure
In case of device closure, you can discharge the patient in 2 days and this treatment is done by using a small needle that passes through the groin. In this type of treatment, the patient can resume her daily activities immediately post-treatment.
Surgical closure is done in patients who are unfit for device closure.

 Hope this answers your query.

Hello, In multiple block major arteries, blocks like LAD (Left Anterior Descending) arteries are resolved first. If remaining vessel blockage is not significant clinically it can be handled conservatively. Your father’s chest pain will settle gradually. Consider cardiac rehabilitation post-surgery after consulting your cardiologist. Hope our answer helps you.

Hello Yogendra, Ideally, the stent is considered after 50% blockage. Medical therapy should be considered before the intervention. But risk benefit ratio depends on various factors like your age, presence of any diseases any clinical symptoms and your other reports. Therefore, you must consult an experienced cardiologist and then decide onto further treatment. Hope our answer helps you.
