Hello, Most patients with MVP do not experience symptoms. If you feel your symptoms are aggravating or not settling consult a cardiologist and get re-evaluated. Continue your medications. Complications depend on how much is the regurgitation. A cardiologist will be the best person to guide you. Consult a cardiologist soon. Hope our answer helps you.

Hello Viren, Your father already had an ischemic episode. He is also having a severe blockage of his coronary arteries especially the LAD. CABG (Coronary artery bypass graft) is the most reliable treatment option than stent installation or angioplasty. Kindly discuss with a cardiologist for further line of treatment. Hope our answer helps you.

Hello Daisy, Your mother is 70 yrs old and is also having blood pressure. Considering her age definitely you must rule out cardiac component even though her EGG is normal. Secondly, after ruling out cardiac component please show to an orthopaedic to check for spondylosis as she is complaining of pain in both the hands. So you must first consult a cardiologist and then an orthopaedic. Hope our answer helps you.

Hello Vishal, Bypass surgery (CABG) is the choice of treatment in case of your father. Kindly consult a cardiologist who on complete evaluation of the patient will suggest you the entire line of treatment. Yoga is good to keep a person fit but there is no documentation of pranayam curing major heart blockage. It is advised to consult a cardiologist and take a wise decision. Hope my answer helps you.

As per my understanding, the patient seems to have triple vessel disease and the doctor has put one stent, but two other arteries having 100% blockage are left untreated. The ideal treatment for triple vessel disease is CABG, but there may be some more underlying factors due to which the cardiologist may have advise against CABG. You can always take a second opinion from other cardiologists, who on evaluating the patient and the reports will guide and clear all your doubts. Consult some of the Best Cardiologists in Mumbai, or any other city. Hope our answer helps you.

Hello Kanchana, As you have mentioned that your mother is suffering from CHF (Chronic Heart Failure), correction of lifestyle and conservative line of treatment are important. There are no evidence-based alternative treatments. You need to be in constant touch with a good cardiologist and carry her treatment forward. Follow the instructions advised by the cardiologist thoroughly to avoid further complications. Hope your mother recovers soon.

Hello Ramsamy, As per our understanding, you have two questions- Question 1- Whether the heartbeat can be regulated? Ans- Yes, the heartbeat can be regulated with a pacemaker. Question 2- Whether heart can be replaced? Ans- Yes, the heart can be replaced with a donor heart. But in your case what will be the line of treatment will depend on your age, clinical condition weighing benefit over risk. Hello, Cardiac arrest can lead to sudden death. The patient might be experiencing the symptoms of chest pain, sweating, laborious breathing, restlessness mainly. It can be silent also in some cases. Kindly discuss with a cardiologist in-person to have a clear idea about the disease. Hope our answer helps you.

My wife aged 60 is having slow pumping of blood in the left ventricle after taking ecg, echo and angiogram etc. The functioning of the heart is 65%. As per the cardiologist advice she is taking tablets. It may kindly be advised whether the tablets will speed up the functioning of the heart of otherwise any other treatment I have to undergo. Your advice is earnestly solicited. Suggest the treatment and hospitals.

Hello, With the lack of information regarding your wife's condition, prescribed treatment and diagnosis I can only assume what her condition is and what medications has been given to her. Assuming she has low ejection fraction number and the tablets she's been provided are beta-blockers, angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), or Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. Low EF number is an early sign of heart failure because of reduced pumping of blood to the rest of the body; these tablets are basic treatment options to prevent it. If you want to consult a different cardiologist I will list a few of the best heart hospitals all over India as I'm unsure of your location. 1. Columbia Asia Hospital, Bangalore 2. Fortis Malar, Chennai 3. Gleneagles Global Health City, Chennai 4. Apollo Health City, Hyderabad 5. Fortis Hospital, Bangalore 6. Asian heart hospital, Mumbai 7. Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai 8. Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Delhi 9. Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi 10. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi 11. Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata

As per my understanding you are a 30 years old male with high cholesterol levels, for which you have started the treatment, you want to know for how long you will have to take the medicine for same, and possible side effects of same. For this, you should consult a cardiologist and you can discuss in detail about the medications and also have a clear idea about various options and available medicines that best suits you. In general these medications are taken for quite some time and do not have much of side effects. But of course if you do have some discomfort then you can consult a cardiologist, and get an appropriate medication for the same. For cardiologists you can refer this page - 10 Best Cardiologist in India.
