Parkinson's patients keep their eyes closed due to four reasons:

  • Parkinson Disease reduces retinal cell in the eye which rely on dopamine to process and perceive the colours.

You can improve eye contact in autism by following ways:

  • Eye Contact Modelling - Maintain an eye contact while talking to autism patient. Do not divert your attention while talking to them.
  • Gentle Remiders - Touch their chin, tell hem to "look at me", etc.
  • Meals - It is a great way to practice eye contact. Keep the food between the vision of your eyes and patient. They will look to grab food and simultaneously make an eye contact.
  • Pausing Technique - Pause before responding to their request. When they feel you don't answer immediately, they will look at you.

You can avoid cerebral palsy during pregnancy by

  • Consuming regular dose of folic acid - it helps to reduce the risk of pre-mature baby, which is a significant cause of cerebral palsy by 70%.
  • Make sure proper blood and oxygen reaches the baby's brain to avoid any damge to brain i.e. to the white matter.
  • Avoid extreme stress as it is one of the causes of cerebral palsy.

Head
  • Turn your head from side to side
Wrist
  • First, stabilize your forearm by holding it from other hand.
  • Now, move the hand in circles.
Shoulders
  • Raise your shoulders and lower it down.
  • Repeat this process.
Fingers
  • Clenching - Curl your fingers by making a fist. Now, open the fist by straightening your fingers back.
  • Parting - Join your fingers so they touch eachother on the sides. Now, spread them out as far as you can.
Arms
  • Make a T-Shape by spreading your arms to the sides.
  • Now move your arms in circles backward forward.
Legs
  • First, lie down on on your sides.
  • Now, raise the top leg upwards as far as possible.
Elbow
  • Bend you elbow and then straighten it back again.
Knees
  • First sit on a chair.
  • Now, straighten your knees by lifting your legs and then again bend it back.
Ankle
  • Rotate your ankles in circular motion.
