if it is gum related bad smell than a proper cleaning of teeth beyond your gums is required ..that is done by a specialist (periodontist)

if the problem is related to cavities than a endontontist should be prefer because every time the bad smell dosent go due to cleaning some time it comes from the food lodged in cavities also.
