Should I be concerned about late period and cramps?

Hi, so my period is 5 days late and I've been having cramps since last week and usually when I have period cramps early it means that it's coming on but it has been a week. Sometimes my period is usually a little late but under the circumstances is this something I should be concerned about?

It's not uncommon for periods to be a little late or for cramps to start early, but if it's been a week and your period still hasn't come, it's worth checking in with a gynecologist just to be sure everything's okay. They can give you the best advice based on your specific situation.

Maybe it seems like you've got a small tear or cut down there. This is something that happens to girls sometimes, especially while on their period and the part is most sensitive at this time. It should get better in a while without any medical intervention. As long as you are gentle and take good care of that area it will get better.

You should make an appointment with a gynecologist in case of enduring pain in your uterus after urinating. This can be a symptom of urinary tract infection, endometriosis, or some other conditions.
