Answered on 23rd May '24
Emergency contraceptives are effective in preventing pregnancy, but they're not 100% guaranteed. It's common for periods to be delayed after taking them. However, if you're concerned about pregnancy, it's best to consult a gynecologist for proper evaluation and guidance.

I am 20 year and 6 months old and I have my last period on 2nd April but now it's 20 may and i don't have my period. Can you help me out with this, please?
Female | 20
Depression, drastic weight changes, poor diet, and irregular exercise patterns can knock off your cycle. If sexual intercourse has been ongoing, the chance of conceiving a child might be taken into consideration. Other causes may include hormonal imbalances, thyroids, or polycystic ovarian syndrome. If your menstrual flow does not appear sooner than the next few weeks, get an appointment with a gynecologist.

Spotting for two consecutive months with no periods after D and C
Female | 22
It may indicate a possible complication when spotting occurs for two months in succession without periods after the D and C. It is recommended that after the operation, it should be better to consult a gynecologist who works with postoperative conditions so as to find out why there are spots. Period ke baad 11 day spot hua aur next 2 day medium bleeding hui hai
Female | 20
You may have irregular periods. If you spot around 11 days after your period stops, then bleed moderately for 2 days, it could mean hormone problems, stress, or routine changes. Try reducing stress, living healthily, and tracking your cycle for patterns. See a gynecologist if it keeps happening.

I dont remember my last period so i went for an ultrasound on 23 july 2024 and it said 13 weeks 4days even a gestation age. So i want to know how many weeks am i now and when is my due date
Female | 27
Your pregnancy seems to be at around 16 weeks now. Your ultrasound date suggests that you are due around January 15, 2025. The memory lapses can be caused by many reasons, but remember that hormones during pregnancy can manipulate memory. To remember things more effectively, you can note down or schedule reminders on your phone. Constantly seek help from your gynecologist.

Hello there, this is sushmitha..im married 7 months ago...we are trying for a baby...i had hypo thyroid 2 months back it was cured but using 100mcg as now... this month i didnt get my period but getting white discharge, body pains, dizzy and feeling vomiting....is it a symptom of any infection or is it symptoms of pregnancy...im confused totally
Female | 25
The troubles you are feeling such as white discharge, pain all over your body, feeling faint, lack of recent period and desire to throw up might mean that you have an infection or are pregnant. The signs of disease are similar to those of pregnancy, so don't be shocked if it turns out that way but also keep in mind this other possibility. Take a pregnancy test at home if not to clear your doubts. Getting more advice from a gynecologist can also help.

Consulted for: Ms.Fathima (Myself) I'm a woman age 28 years. I got my last period on 3rd feb. We are planning for baby. I got my tvs follicular study and got hcg shot on feb 16. Before doing pregnancy test I actually did 1 hour fast walking. I started feeling a lot of cramps throughout my belly ( upper and lower) . I did my pregnancy test and it's positive. I did consulted docter the same day (march 10) . In tvs study there is an empty sac doctor said. And it's an early sign of pregnancy. The horrible pain in my belly area was throughout the day. Today ( march 11) I'm not having any pain only my lower back has very little amount of pain. I'm if I'll get to hear the heart beat of mt baby when I'll visit my gynaecologist after 15 days Or not. Please tell if everything can be normal. Waiting eagerly for your reply. Thank you❤.

Cramping and empty sac in your ultrasound at this stage is common. But it's important to follow up with your gynecologist to monitor the development of the pregnancy. Make sure to visit your doctor regularly and follow their advice for a healthy pregnancy.

The results show a small polyp in your uterus and a cyst with blood vessels around it. Usually, these are harmless, but sometimes they can cause mild symptoms that are not life-threatening. The fluid also appears normal. If you feel pain or notice unusual bleeding, please contact a gynecologist.

I am 20 years old female. I had my periods at 21 April to 25 april.... Later i had intercourse on 7 may at night later on 8 may i took one tab of unwanted 72 but till today i.e 16 may i have not received period. I took pregnancy test but the results were negative... Is it all okay... Or no... I am confused
Female | 20
Sometimes they are late with the period for no reason. One of the reasons for the delay in periods is the Unwanted 72 pill. Also, Stress, weight changes, and hormonal imbalance can delay periods. Since your pregnancy test is not positive, allow more time to pass. Also, if you're concerned, you can go to the gynecologist who can provide you with a piece of advice.

Hi, I am Rh negative my husband is positive this is my 4th pregnancy.my first baby is rh + blood group he is 5 years old ,second abortion, third normal delivered rh + but due to rh complications(jaundice) he was die. Now I am completed 6 months of pregnancy indirect coombs is positive titre is around 1:1024. My question is can I take anti -d 28 weeks Is it helpful to reduce harmful antibodies.??
Female | 29
Receiving an Anti-D injection at 28 weeks helps reduce harmful antibodies in your body. In cases of Rh incompatibility, where the mother and baby's blood types don't match, this injection can protect your baby's health. Rh incompatibility can lead to serious issues like jaundice, so Anti-D prevents your body from producing antibodies that could harm your baby. It's important to follow your doctor's treatment plan closely for the best outcome. Make sure to visit a gynecologist if you experience any concerns.

I have taken Regesterone tablet to prepone my periods, but it’s seven days now, and I did not get my period till now
Female | 28
The calculation could be correct: if you are under stress, hormonal imbalances, or other underlying issues, your period could be late. Regesterone can also be the cause of late menstruation in some cases. If the period doesn't come early, ask a gynecologist for more advice and guidance.

DNC and bleeding for how many days
Female | 35
DNC stands for "dilation and curettage." It's a process carried out to examine the uterus's interior. Some bleeding for a couple days is normal after a DNC. This occurs as the uterus recovers. If bleeding is heavy, persists over a week, or comes with pain, fever, or foul-smelling discharge, it's crucial to contact your gynecologist. They'll determine if any issue exists and provide appropriate treatment.

My periods are on one day only
Female | 30
One-day periods are often linked to hormone shifts, stress, or medical issues. Light spotting, cramps, and irregular cycles might occur. Managing stress through yoga, and deep breaths can assist. Having a nutritious diet and staying hydrated can also help. If the problem doesn't stop, consult a gynecologist for advice.

What happen if precum rubbing on outside of the vigina. a girl can pregnant or not
Female | 18
Precum sometimes carries sperm; if it touches the vaginal area, pregnancy may occur. Cleaning the area after contact helps too. A small chance exists, so taking precautions is wise. Though unlikely, that pre-ejaculate fluid could lead to conception. Protection and hygiene minimize the risk effectively.

exactly two days after I had intercourse with my wife on Monday, she started having nause She went to a lady doctor and according to her she is pregnant Checked the pulse and told that you are pregnant wife are having frequent vomiting who vomits after eating Nothing is being digested Dr please guide me
Female | 25
With the things you told me, your wife seems to be affected by a general queasiness syndrome which is commencing to pregnancy. This symptom occurs frequently at the beginning of a pregnancy causing a person to feel sick, especially when they have just eaten. According to some, the cause of this is related to hormones. One tried and tested method in dealing with morning sickness is the following; start eating small amounts, more times, drink plenty of fluids and avoid foods that have strong smells. For some people discussing their problems can be very helpful it is good to talk to a gynecologist for more advice.

You are likely to develop PCOD if you suffer from polycystic ovarian syndrome. The symptoms correlated with this syndrome are things like acne, hair growth, weight gain, and irregular menstrual cycle. You need to be careful with your diet, exercise regularly, and undergo stress control practice to control PCOD. Alternately, the use of medicines when PCOD progresses may also be needed occasionally.

I'm in 21st week of my pregnancy and I'm getting clear white discharge from nipples. If is normal. All scans are normal
Female | 29
You don't need to stress about nipple discharge during pregnancy - it's a natural thing called colostrum, this whitish fluid is your body's way to nourish the baby soon. If its bothering too much, use mild soap and water to clean the area gently. But watch for redness, swelling or discomfort - as it warrants medical attention.
