Hello Vijay, For melasma and suntan, you can opt for several treatments such as Lighten and De-tan facial, chemical peels and laser treatment. But before zeroing down on anyone it is better to consult a dermatologist who can properly analyze your skin and suggest the best line of treatment for you. The consultation charges at Kaya Skin Clinic are Rs.500 and regarding the kaya skin clinic prices, our blog can give brief insight - Kaya Skin Clinic – Prices & Services. You can also consult other dermatologists - Dermatologists in India. Hope this answers your query.

There is a sudden development of a black coloured lump on my lips . Can you please give me details of this

Male | 52

Several factors can cause black lumps. It's sometimes a self-resolving harmless blood blister that happens when you accidentally bite your lip or something more serious like skin cancer. Anyway, always be alert to the piece of the lump being uncomfortable, bloody, or growing in size. It's better to seek counseling from a physician to be cautious.

Herpes simplex is a virus that causes cold sores on your lips. These cold sores can feel painful, itchy, or tingly. Don’t touch or pick at them. You can use a cold compress and over-the-counter creams to help soothe them. Eating healthy and getting plenty of rest will help your body fight the virus better.

Can you suggest some supplements brands or products for skin brightening or whole body

Female | 22

For brighter skin or improved complexion, you can try supplements with Vitamin C and Vitamin E. If you're dealing with dullness, these vitamins can help give your skin a healthy glow. Consider reliable brands like Nature's Bounty or NOW Foods. Be sure to read the label carefully and consult your pharmacist or doctor before starting any new supplement.

Face wash for whitening for men glow removes blushing

Male | 21

You should understand that skin color is natural and special for each person. Men, like everyone else, must use a gentle face wash for daily cleaning without harsh chemicals. Products for whitening can be bad and may not remove blushing well. Blushing often happens because of emotions or surroundings. Instead of looking for whitening products, focus on caring for your skin with a good diet, drinking enough water, and protecting it from the sun.

I have oily skin and acne problem. The problem is that scars are not removed completely. Some are getting light but not removed completely. I recently heard about microdermabrasion for acne scars from one of my friends. Does it really work? I am 23 now. Does it have any side effects?

Female | 23

If you have oily skin and acne problem, sometimes if acne is severe they might burst or get infected or if you pick your acne too much they might result into scars. As per Dermatologist there are 5 types of scars which are commonly encountered.
1. Ice Picks Scars: Very small in surface but deep and narrow below.
2. Roll-Over Scars: Wide but borders are difficult to appreciate
3. Box-car Scars: wide and borders can be easily appreciated.
4. Open pores like Scars: Small Ice Pick Scars
5. Hyper-trophic Scars:
so the treatment for the scars depends upon the type of scars. Commonly treatment which are effective are TCA cross, subsition treatment, microneedling, microneedling radiofrequency, PRP treatment, CO2 Laser, RBM Glass laser and even dermal fillers.
As you are 23 and you are asking about microdermabrasion, it removes superficial skin layers and it is effective only for superficial scars which are not very deep. This might require you multiple sessions like 8-10 sessions for it to work. Instead of Microdermabrasion you can go for microneedling, microneedling radiofrequency which will require less number of sessions and on top of it you can add PRP to it.

Male | 14

The treatment depends on the diagnosis and the cause of rashes and ring marks. Rashes and ring marks can be caused by a variety of reasons such as eczema, allergy, fungal infections etc. I advise you to take your son to a doctor for knowing the exact cause and diagnosis of rashes and ring marks. Based on that, a proper treatment plan can be recommended.
