Will using cortisone cream with Blue Star ointment spread ringworm?

If I have a wringworm and start putting blue star ointment on it 3 times a day but also put cortisone cream to soothe the itch will it cause the fungus to spread?

Using it together on a wringworm can actually make the fungus spread. It is recommended to only use antifungal medication to treat a wringworm, and consult a dermatologist for proper treatment.
