If you are experiencing fever along with cough, cold, and tiredness, then it can be a sign that your body is fighting off an infection. These symptoms frequently, viruses like the flu and the common cold are the culprits. Make sure to rest, stay hydrated, and consider taking over-the-counter medications like acetaminophen for fever and cough syrup for cough. If your symptoms linger or get worse, see a pulmonologist

Lung metastases from cancer can result in cough, dyspnea, and chest pain. The therapy you underwent has been difficult, but it is worrying that the tumor in your right lung has increased so much. In this context, further investigation and possibly intervention such as surgery, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy might be the next step. It is crucial to consult your doctor about your case to determine the optimal path.

A lung transplant is a major surgery in which one person's damaged lungs are replaced with healthy ones from a donor. At the age of seventy-four, the body may not tolerate new lungs as well as when it was younger, which can cause some complications. The symptoms that tell you that you need a lung transplant are severe dyspnea and a permanent lack of energy. It's a difficult decision and requires careful thought as well as consultation with professionals.

Asthma may be the cause of your breathing problems, making it feel like your lungs aren't functioning properly. This condition can lead to symptoms such as wheezing and coughing. Common triggers include allergies and exercise. If prescribed by your doctor, an inhaler can help open your airways and ease breathing difficulties. If you don't notice any improvement within a few days, consult a pulmonologist.

Maybe you are an asthma patient. The changing seasons can be the reason for the asthma symptoms intensified by pollen. Various symptoms are observed such as shortness of breath, wheezing, and feeling of being out of breath. The underlying cause is the body's hypersensitivity to certain substances known as allergens. The treatment is to utilize a doctor-prescribed inhaler can assist in more effective breathing. Dust and pollen are some triggers that should be avoided.

A cough that has lasted for 2 years can be a serious issue that we need to investigate. It could be attributed to several causes such as asthma, allergies, or even acid reflux. Other symptoms such as chest pain or difficulty breathing might give us clues. It's essential to go to a doctor for proper assessment and treatment. Don't postpone, as controlling the main issue can promote the relief of that intractable cough.

What's causing my sore throat, coughing, and chest pain?

Starting about 6 days ago, I began having a swollen and sore throat (only painful and swollen on right side.) Then I started having coughing fits, coughing up stuff, and having chest pains. My nose also goes back and forth from runny to stuffy. I’ve been taking mucus relief medicine, throat spray, nasal congestion spray, and Tylenol. Nothing is working. What’s wrong with me

You might have a respiratory infection, which is a viral infection. The infection could result in a sore throat, coughing, chest pain, and nasal congestion. The use of mucus relief, throat spray, and nasal congestion spray is good for symptom relief, but if it has not improved, you may need to see a pulmonologist for further evaluation and possibly antibiotics. The doctor can do this if there is any bacterial infection that may be present.

Blood sputum would be an alarming sign that should not be ignored. You used to vape and smoke weed and this is a vital point here. It can be that smoking is the cause of irritation in your lungs. This might lead to small bleeds in your throat. You have stopped smoking and that is a good thing. But for your safety, get a thorough physical examination by a pulmonologist as soon as possible.

It appears that you may be experiencing some worrying side effects as a result of using beclomethasone dipropionate and levosalbutamol sulfate rotocaps for your asthma. Rapid weight loss, reduced penis size, and low semen volume can be linked to these drugs’ long-term usage. These particular adverse reactions are probably caused by the steroids contained in the medication affecting your system. Hence, you should inform your physician about them so they can prescribe you a more suitable treatment plan for your asthma which won’t have these effects. Besides, the doctor might also recommend ways of gaining weight and supporting overall well-being.

Several factors can cause sharp irritations on the left side of your body, including issues with the respiratory system, anxiety, or heart problems due to inadequate food intake. Eating healthily, staying hydrated, and resting may help improve these symptoms. However, consult a pulmonologist if the irritation persists or worsens.

Night-time coughing can disturb your sleep. It might be caused by irritants in the air or conditions like post-nasal drip or acid reflux. Either way, it’s frustrating! You can try propping your head up while you sleep, and a humidifier might help, too. Staying hydrated is also a good idea. However, if the coughing doesn’t go away, talk to a pulmonologist about it.

You may feel short of breath and have a sore throat that makes swallowing difficult. Your muscles might ache, and you could experience congestion in your sinuses. You may also feel dizzy as if your head is spinning. These signs may indicate a COVID-19 infection, as the virus can cause these symptoms. To aid recovery, make sure to rest and drink plenty of fluids. It’s important to isolate yourself from others to avoid spreading the illness. Be sure to contact your doctor about these symptoms.

This type of incident can occur due to the inflammation in your airways caused by a cough or infection. The blood could be in the form of light streaks or spots. Generally speaking, it's nothing serious, but it's a good idea to visit a doctor anyway. Be sure to drink a lot of water, and take a break, and if it doesn't go away or gets worse, contact a pulmonologist for precaution.
