A brave and resilient woman named Abha Akhter from Bangladesh. At 52 years old, Abha was diagnosed with colon cancer and was in dire need of proper treatment. She had heard that the best colon cancer treatment in India can be done at the renowned Tata Memorial Hospital. So she made the bold decision to travel to India 3 years back.

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, Abha was unable to receive the surgery she needed at the time. She left India feeling helpless, and unsure of what her next steps would be.

Six months ago, when Abha stumbled upon ClinicSpots' official website while searching for her treatment options, she knew she had to give it a try. She explained her situation and how she had been living with cancer for two years without any proper treatment. She only had old reports from Tata Memorial, and she feared the worst - that her cancer had progressed to a metastatic stage.

And then ClinicSpots came into the picture! Read on to learn how ClinicSpots assisted her throughout the process.

Without any further delays, ClinicSpots team did their job and assisted Abha throughout her journey. They helped her with her visa invitation letter, but unfortunately, the visa process in Bangladesh was delayed at that time. But they didn't give up. They worked to expedite the visa process by reaching out to the Indian embassy. After a 15 to 20 day wait, Abha was finally able to travel to Mumbai.

On her arrival, the team at ClinicSpots took care of everything. They helped Abha find accommodations and made sure she was comfortable. The next day, Abha visited the hospital and met with Dr. Suresh Advani an oncologist. He referred her to Dr. Kirti Bhushan for surgery. The doctors found that it was a tumor that was blocking the tubes of her intestines, preventing her from eating and sitting comfortably. The doctors determined that cancer had not spread to other organs, which was a positive sign.

Without any further delays the surgery day had come. Keep reading to learn about the post-surgery surgery.

The very next day, Dr. Kirti Bhushan performed the surgery, successfully removing the malignant tumor from Abha’s intestines. She went home feeling relieved and grateful, knowing that she had received the best possible care. The doctors gave her a protocol of medications to follow for the next six months, and she had to take good care of herself. But Abha was already feeling much better now that the tumor was removed.

Recently, Abha also called the hospital to express her gratitude once again. It was her birthday, and she was happy and filled with joy about her new life. While cancer may or may not be curable or could recur, but right now Abha is cancer-free and grateful for every moment of her new lease on life. Thanks to the dedicated team at ClinicSpots and the skilled surgeons at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. Abha has a new outlook on life and a renewed sense of hope for the future.
