I am 35 years old female and my stomach was bloated for 2 days then I consulted doctor who gave drips then told for a ct scan then they told its cancer other told its all spread and its stage 4 many told us not to get biopsy as it will make it more spread now the report came that cea is 0.5 and ldh is 276
Female | 35
Bloating can arise from various factors, including digestive issues or hormonal changes. The elevated LDH and the CEA levels are significant, but it's crucial to interpret these in the context of your overall health and symptoms. Consult your physician for a comprehensive evaluation and discuss the necessity of a biopsy based on your specific situation. It's essential to have a supportive team guiding your care. Remember, communication with your healthcare provider is key to navigating this journey effectively.

My aunt got a tumor in the kidney in 2014 and found cancer. She was 35 at that time. Since then, she has been surviving with only the right kidney. She is a diabetic patient too. Last month diagnosed with some abnormality on her other kidney too. Though it was nothing severe and was treated with medicine. But we are worried that if the other kidney also gets affected, what are her survival chances?
Having only one kidney does not affect the quality of life to a very high extent, but any disease or disorder of the remaining kidney can be fatal and will require immediate treatment. The most important thing is such a scenario is regular follow ups with nephrologist and routine investigations such as blood tests and ultrasonography tests. This improves and also increases the chances of survivals.

Hello Doctor, good evening. I am Lokesh, and I am taking care of my grandmother at home. She has stage 4 cervical cancer, and we are currently focusing on palliative care. Unfortunately, we do not have regular access to a nearby doctor or hospital, so I’m managing everything myself at home. I’m doing my best to support her with love, comfort, and the correct medicines. She has been experiencing: Pain (sometimes mild, sometimes strong) Lack of sleep or restlessness Occasional constipation and vomiting feeling I have some medicines like: Tramadol 50 mg Paracetamol 650 mg Lorazepam 1 mg Pan 40 Ondansetron 4 mg Lactulose syrup Based on her condition, I would like to know: 1. When and how to use Tramadol or Paracetamol for pain. Can they be used together? 2. Is Lorazepam safe to give daily? Should I reduce it slowly if I stop? 3. What are the risks if I stop Tramadol or Lorazepam suddenly? 4. Can I use Ondansetron only when vomiting starts? Or daily? 5. How often should I give Lactulose syrup if there’s no bowel movement? 6. Do you recommend any vitamins or supportive care for comfort or strength? 7. If she is calm and has no symptoms, can I skip some medicines? I want to provide her full comfort, dignity, and peace. Kindly guide me with the best possible medicine routine and precautions I should follow at home.
Female | 68
You can give Tramadol and Paracetamol together if the pain is intense, but it's good to space them out a bit. Paracetamol can be used every 4-6 hours, and Tramadol can be taken every 4-6 hours as needed. Lorazepam can be used daily for anxiety or restlessness. If you ever need to stop it, it's best to reduce the dose gradually to prevent any withdrawal symptoms. Suddenly stopping Tramadol or Lorazepam can cause withdrawal symptoms like increased pain, anxiety, or even seizures. So, it's safer to taper them off slowly. Ondansetron can be used as needed when vomiting starts. It's usually taken 30 minutes before meals that could trigger nausea. Lactulose syrup can be given every 8-12 hours if there's no bowel movement. Make sure she's drinking enough fluids to help it work better. A daily multivitamin can be beneficial for overall health and strength. It's good for supporting the body during this time. If your grandmother is comfortable and symptom-free, you can skip some medicines. But always consult with an oncologist before making any changes.

When you have adenocarcinoma, you must stick to the treatment plan your doctor gives you. Chemotherapy is used often for treating this type of cancer. Just try to follow the treatment schedule, eat well, and get enough rest.

Melanoma skin cancer in stage 4 . How I increase survival rate
Female | 44
Stage 4 melanoma skin cancer means the disease has moved to other body parts. You may notice weird moles, spots that change, and feel unwell. Too much sunlight exposure causes it. Treatments like surgery, chemo, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy help. But survival rates rise by listening to your oncologist and checking regularly.

I am 49 years old. It has been a month now I have noticed that I have been experiencing pain and a burning sensation during urinating. I consulted with my gynec and she prescribed vaginal suppositories. Initially I got relief but then again it started. I feel the need to go to the washroom more frequently than usual. I am not diabetic. After all this, I didn't take it seriously. But for the last 2-3 days I had difficulties in holding it. Now I feel this is very serious because I am not old enough for this problem. I searched on the internet and found it could be a reason for bladder cancer. Is that so? Please refer to a good female doctor. I am perplexed about all these and it's making my life miserable.
Hi , don’t worry abt cancer and all.I feel it’s a urinary tract infection, get a urine routine microscopy test followed by urine culture and sensitivity. If urine routine report shows pus cells and bacteria then our diagnosis is confirmed. Visit a gynecologist with your reports.

Female | 50 to 55
Gallbladder cancer, especially one that has spread, can lead to severe discomfort and symptoms like abdominal pain, jaundice, or weight loss. The treatment methods could be quite different, but they commonly involve chemotherapy, targeted therapies, or palliative care to minimize the symptoms and increase the patient's quality of life. One must be acquainted with an oncologist who has a specialization in this area. They can plan her course of treatment according to her condition and needs.
