Answered on 11th Sept '23

Fasting sugar at 130 and after eating at 178 are elevated levels. While not an emergency.. it indicates a potential issue with blood sugar regulation. Consult a doctor or a physician for further evaluation and advice on managing your blood sugar levels.

I've read online that 10mg Morphine is approximately equivalent to 100mg Tramadol, does that mean taking 100mg Tramadol would be as effective at treating severe pain as taking 10mg morphine ?

Dr. Babita Goel

Answered on 8th Sept '23

Comparing the effectiveness of morphine and tramadol in treating severe pain can be challenging because individual responses vary. While there's a rough conversion ratio of 10mg morphine to 100mg tramadol, it's not a precise rule. Both medications have different mechanisms and may work better for certain types of pain. Consult your physician doctor for dosage recommendations for you.

Hormonal imbalances or underlying medical conditions can be the reason for less beard hair growth. Avoid stress, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and be patient as hair growth can vary. For concerns related to a lack of facial and body hair growth and potential hormonal imbalances you should consider consulting an endocrinologist

Hello, I smoked meth today around 4:00pm. Since then, my heart rate has been between 125-150bpm. At 8:00pm, I felt a little bit of anxiety creeping up so I took my prescribed hydroxyzine. At midnight I took my prescribed trazodone for sleep. I’m wondering what I can do to get my heart rate back to baseline and what I can do regarding my sleep. I’m a bit worried from taking the hydroxyzine and trazodone so close together.

If you've recently used meth and are experiencing a high heart rate and anxiety, prioritize staying hydrated and finding a calm environment to relax in. Avoid any further stimulants like caffeine or nicotine. Consult a doctor about taking hydroxyzine and trazodone together, as they can advise on potential risks and interactions.

Can a 47 years old woman get pregnant naturally after manopause?

Dr. Swapna Chekuri

Dr. Swapna Chekuri

Gynecologist

Answered on 4th Sept '23

No, a woman who has gone through menopause, defined as the absence of menstruation for 12 consecutive months, cannot get pregnant naturally. Menopause marks the end of a woman's reproductive years, as the ovaries cease to release eggs (ovulate).
If you wish to conceive after menopause, you would generally require assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF with donor eggs or other specialized treatments.

Burping and fever are generally not directly linked, but they can sometimes occur together due to certain conditions. Burping is the release of stomach gas through the mouth, often caused by factors like eating habits. Fever, on the other hand, is an elevated body temperature usually caused by infections or illnesses.
