All acne is caused by clogged pores, but non-inflammatory ones don't have bacteria in the mix and neither are situated deeper within the pores. When oil, bacteria, and other foreign substances are trapped deeper within your pores, your body’s natural defense is to produce pus. In short, pus filled acne meaning that there is bacteria. For inflammatory acne treatment, you have following options:

  1. Over the counter drugs: use skin care products which have Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid.
  2. Appropriate skin care regime: Wash your face in the morning and night, wear oil free moisturizer after washing face, followed by a sunscreen. And please don't scratch or pop them.
  3. If even after months you don't find changes then see an expert: they will have topical retinoids, isotretinoin, oral antibiotics, topical antibiotics, and hormonal medications, or even advanced clinical treatments.
  4. Please do not use any home remedial treatment: because what we have observed is, that people apply seemingly healthy ingredients to their skin, without knowing how to extract the right chemical from them, or what their chemical composition is and how they react with skin on application.

In that case it's better to see a dermatologist, they will start with topical medications and lifestyle hacks and may movie on to hair transplant surgery or PRP hair treatment if nothing works. Over the counter drugs and home remedies may not be as helpful. However, Minoxidil, an over the counter medicated shampoo, could help. Hair transplant price falls in the range of Rs. 25 to Rs. 45 per graft in India, wherein each graft consists of 1 to 3 hair follicles, so for 2000 grafts hair transplant price should be between 50,000 INR to 90,000 INR.
But based on techniques used, place and infrastructure of clinic, along with expertise of clinician, there could be other differences, and our blog can help with same - Cost of Hair Transplant in India. Your reason for whole body itching, followed by or during bath, could be eczema, extreme dryness, or even as a result of your skin's sensitivity towards soap. It could also be because of a neurotypical condition such as aquagenic pruritus, wherein skin contact with water activates your nervous system. It can be some fungal infection or bacterial invasion at play too, or even body lice infestation.
So contact a dermatologist as well as neurologist, and get yourself examined, our following pages could help:

For blackheads and pigmentation treatment (specifically dull skin), following methods can prove to be effective:

  1. Over-the-counter treatments: buy medicated creams/gels which contain the following as their ingredients - salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and resorcinol. They eliminate bacteria, remove excess oil, and clear your skin off of dead skin cells. These acids can make your skin sensitive to sun however, so include sunscreen in your daily skin care regime!
  2. Prescription medicines: which will either contain stronger version of above mentioned acids, or will include more as well!
  3. Comedone extraction: wherein the doctor will use some device to extract the pug causing blackhead.
  4. Advanced clinical therapies: such as laser, microdermabrasion and chemical peel.

These treatments can be performed by a clinical doctor of relevant field only, which in this case would be a dermatologist, you can use our page to find them - Dermatologists in India.

Hello, Firstly, Assuming that you have 1st level of baldness, we suggest you visit the dermatologist. You can take steps as per the doctor suggests. Usually, 1st level baldness can be treated with medicines and non-surgical treatments. And if the doctor advises you hair transplant, you will need 1000 to 1500 grafts. Depending upon this the average cost would be:

  1. For FUT: Rs. 20 per graft to Rs. 30 per graft.
  2. For FUE: Rs.40 per graft to Rs.60 per graft.
  3. For PRP: Rs.5000 to Rs.15000 depends upon the number of sittings.

You can learn more about hair transplant surgery, hair transplant price and other techniques, through our blog - Cost of Hair Transplant in India

Secondly, I am afraid that insurance will not cover the cost of hair transplant as it is a cosmetology treatment. Thirdly, There are many EMI options available in the clinics. The clinic you go to will assist you with the EMI options. Hope our answer helps you. You can also find dermatologist experts on our page if it helps - Hair Transplant Surgeons in India.

I'm from Hyderabad and I need chubby cheeks. Can I get it? What's the treatment and any side effects? How much is the treatment cost?

Hello, Yes, you can get chubby cheeks through Surgical Treatment which is called as Cheek Implants or Cheek Augmentation.

  • Basically, there are three types of cheek implants:
  1. Malar: These implants are placed directly on the cheekbones, providing a higher projection.
  2. Submalar: These implants provide fuller cheeks, rounding out a gaunt, or sunken, appearance.
  3. Combined: A combined implant augments both the cheekbones and the cheeks.

  • Side Effects: After the surgery, there will be some swelling and mild bruising. It's likely that your plastic surgeon will provide you pain relieving medication for a couple of days post surgery. You will also probably need to limit some activities for a few weeks but you can usually return to work and other normal activities within a week.

  • Cheek implants cost in India: Depending on the surgeon and the related medical fees, cheek augmentation cost can range from INR 1,69,128 to INR 3,52,350.

  • Top Plastic Surgeons in Hyderabad: We have listed a few of the Best Plastic Surgeons in Hyderabad on the page that has been linked here - Plastic Surgeons in Hyderabad.

Hope this answers your query.

Hello, From the information you have provided, I am assuming that you have 1st or 2nd level baldness. Usually, for such type of baldness either the doctor gives you medicines or non-surgical treatment like PRP. The cost depends on the technique which the doctor will suggest to you. The average hair transplant price varies based on technique used:

  1. FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction): Rs. 20 per graft to Rs. 30 per graft.
  2. FUT (Follicular Unit Transplant): Rs.40 per graft to Rs.60 per graft.
  3. PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma): Rs.5000 to Rs.15000 depends on the number of sittings.

So broadly the price range can be Rs. 20 to Rs. 50. You can learn more about hair transplant surgery, associated techniques, and hair transplant price variations, on our blog - Cost of Hair Transplant in India.

Yes, it is safe provided you get it done from an experienced hair transplant surgeon and from a good clinic. You can find leading surgeons on our page - Hair Transplant Surgeons in India.

Hypothyroidism can contribute to hair loss in a major way, so take care of following things:

  1. Take medications regularly and keep your thyroid levels in check.
  2. With dietician's guidance, also eat food that are healthy in vitamin B7, B complex, C, E, A, and zinc, copper, iron, as well as coenzyme Q10.
  3. Look out for iodine intake.
  4. Don't tie or pull your hair, and use wide toothed combs versus harder brush when trying to loosen knots.

Only after several months of following these tips will you eventually start seeing changes. Seek opinions of doctors from following pages:

The options are quite limited, they will be:

  1. Some over the counter or prescription medicated drug.
  2. PRP (Platelet rich plasma therapy) for hair, wherein blood will be extracted from the site where healthy hair growth is observed, some cells will be extracted from it, and then the platelet rich plasma that is obtained will be injected into the site where hair thinning is seen.
PRP treatment cost will be anywhere between Rs. 4,500 to Rs. 20,000.
Our blog will explain more about eligibility, step-by step process and prp injection recovery time - PRP Hair Treatment.
  3. Or it will be hair transplant surgery as a final resort.
Hair transplant price will be 25-45 Rs. per graft, each containing one to 3 follicles, and number of grafts will be determined by dermatologist.
More details regarding procedure, techniques, price variation and hair transplant side effects are available here - Cost of Hair Transplant in India.
  4. Some clinicians could even use Lower Laser therapy, but studies are conflicted about same.

You should visit dermatologists regarding same - Dermatologists in India.
