My wife has gone through stage 2nd Stage of breast cancer in 2019 and operated on the right breast. Then went through 12 cycles of chemotherapy. According to the reports, Doctors said she is now cancer free. But we are very confused as we are asked to visit hospital every year for check ups. We are in a dilemma now. She is still very weak and has not overcome the hassle yet. Is there any chance of regrowing cancer? Is that what the doctor suspected and asked for a checkup every year?

Even after complete treatment of cancer there is remote chance of recurrence or cancer coming back . This is the reason that patient has to be on regular check up with oncologist to detect any recurrence early.
In August, I was diagnosed with a tumor and opt it, but it has already spread to my bladder wall. From next week my chemotherapy will start. I'm not sure if I want to go through with the chemotherapy. I did a lot of research and read a lot. I am worried about the side effects. Would you like to advise me anything?

I am 49 years old. It has been a month now I have noticed that I have been experiencing pain and a burning sensation during urinating. I consulted with my gynec and she prescribed vaginal suppositories. Initially I got relief but then again it started. I feel the need to go to the washroom more frequently than usual. I am not diabetic. After all this, I didn't take it seriously. But for the last 2-3 days I had difficulties in holding it. Now I feel this is very serious because I am not old enough for this problem. I searched on the internet and found it could be a reason for bladder cancer. Is that so? Hi , don’t worry abt cancer and all.I feel it’s a urinary tract infection, get a urine routine microscopy test followed by urine culture and sensitivity.If urine routine report shows pus cells and bacteria then our diagnosis is confirmed. Visit a gynecologist with your reports.
After a hysteroscopy, I was diagnosed with cancer last week. For over a year I had been bleeding and in chronic pain since December. I'm not sure which stage it is. So, I'm here. Should I visit a gynecologist ? or what? Please advise me.

I am very sorry to know your diagnosis of cancer. I would like to know your age and also how the cancer was diagnosed, was a biopsy sent, and what is the report of that biopsy? You definitely need to see a gynecologic oncologist with your biopsy reports.

I am from Delhi. My father is 63 years old. We have suffered through the wrong treatment. In July, he was diagnosed with a spot in the right lung called a pulmonary nodule. And we were relieved to know that it was benign. Since mid-December, he has started falling ill several times and even lost appetite. Then two weeks back we asked for some tests again. We did a PET scan and some other tests and found that it is malignant and cancer has now spread across both lungs. We are all shattered by this news. First, evaluate her general condition as well as her disease progression. According to her histopathological report and staging of the disease proper treatment plan has to be made. Starting with Chemotherapy as it affects the disease, further plans of action will be made.
