As per our understanding, you need treatment for the heart muscles which were damaged during a heart attack. For such a situation, the doctor might suggest you medications or else surgeries like Coronary angioplasty and stenting, or Coronary artery bypass surgery if your case is critical. It is better that you consult a cardiologist to know the perfect treatment for yourself - Best Cardiologist in India. Hello, my Mother in law (70 years) is suffering from misbalancing and in-coordination of feet movement which has severely worsened during last 3 years. All the pathology test appears are normal. The sensory test is also normal. There is an uncontrolled trembling that occurs frequently. Now, this symptom is gradually being observed in the upper limbs also. Progressive myelopathy with no medication available has been diagnosed by a Neurologist. What are the options available for the treatment?

Answered on 30th June '21

Bracing, physical therapy and medication are treatments for mild myelopathy and mainly reduce pain, allowing you to return to your daily activities. Nonsurgical treatment does not remove the compression. Spinal decompression surgery is a generally preferred treatment for myelopathy to relieve pressure on the spinal cord. A surgery can also be used to remove bone spurs or herniated discs if they are the cause of myelopathy. For advanced myelopathy caused by stenosis, a surgical procedure to increase the channel space of your spinal cord (laminoplasty) recommended. Consult a spinal surgeon - Spinal Surgery doctors in Mumbai, you can also search for a different city.

Hello, my nose is a little bit damaged from one side. I want to undergo Nose surgery, please guide me on the treatment procedure and its cost.

Answered on 30th June '21

Since there is a lack of picture of your nose, therefore determining the kind of damage that took place, is difficult.

So assuming that you have a minor fracture which didn't make your nose crooked or misshaped, then you may not require  professional medical treatment. Your doctor however, may recommend simple self-care measures, such as using ice on the area and taking over-the-counter pain medications.
If there are displacements of and breaks in bones & cartilages, then the doctor may be able to realign your nose manually, or you may require a surgery.
if this has gone untreated for more than 2 weeks, or if your damage is way too severe, then reconstructive surgery may be needed.
And only your doctor, through some trials, will be able to decide which treatment fits you the best - Cosmetic Surgery doctors in Mumbai.

We are extremely sorry for replying late, and since we don't know whether you got the required medical care and attention for your condition or not, therefore we will do our best to brief you on our analysis.
As you were operated for this condition before but it recurred, and also because you required an operation earlier to be able to cure it, therefore it's most likely a chronic type sciatica. If not, then otc medicines along with regular stretching exercises & walking must suffice.
For chronic type, you can get physical therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) – which helps people with pain management by training them to react differently towards pain, painkillers, and as a final resort, surgery.

Surgeries are as follows:

i.) Lumbar laminectomy: widening spinal cord present in the lower back to reduce pressure on nerves.

ii.) Discectomy: either partial or complete removal of a herniated disk.

A surgeon will do the cost benefit analysis of each treatment and suggest you the best possible option for your condition, so to get in touch with experts, you should refer our page, they could help with second opinions too - Best Orthopedic Doctor in India. Do update us on your condition and its progression, also, approach us whenever you feel like!

Approaching a dermatologist will be helpful, they are likely to suggest either one of these treatments, or multiple treatments in combination:

i.) Stronger peeling medicine (salicylic acid): medications with salicylic acid remove outer layers of a wart a little bit at once and therefore have to be applied unless and until the wart doesn't go. But be careful that such medications don't touch your skin other than the wart.

ii.) Cryotherapy: Freezing therapy done at a doctor's clinic, which essentially involves application of liquid nitrogen to your wart. Freezing of wart using this liquid results in a forming under and around your wart, following which the dead tissue sloughs off within a week or so. This method may also stimulate your immune system to fight viral warts. You'll likely need repeat treatments.

Side effects of cryotherapy include pain, blistering and discolored skin in the treated region. Since this technique can be painful, thus it is usually not used to treat the warts of young children.

iii.) Other acids: Trichloroacetic acid is applied on your wart once its surface is shaved off. It requires repeat treatments every week or so. Side effects are burning and stinging sensation.

iv.) Minor surgery: This involves cutting off the tissue but it leaves a scar in the treated area.

v.) Laser treatment: Pulsed-dye laser burns tiny blood vessels, this causes the infected tissue to eventually die, and the wart falls off. Limited studies hint at effectiveness of this treatment, and side effects are pain and scarring.
The page we are mentioning here will put you in line with trusted experts who can guide further - Wart Removal doctors in Mumbai. Let us know if your city is different, and you can come to us anytime you are confused!
