I'm experiencing old blood (black in colour)during my period from the first day to the fourth day(today)and the flow is same. Also it's the first time this has happened. I'm not bleeding fresh blood, which is concerning. What should I do?Typically, I bleed old blood only on the first day of my period, and by the night of the first day, I start to bleed fresh blood. However, this time, that's not the case, and it's now my fourth day, with only a small amount of old blood compared to my previous menstrual cycles
Female | 24
Old blood appears darker in color. It's normal, but concerning if it's new or frequent. Stress, hormones might cause this. Note it down. If it persists, consult a doctor. Being worried is understandable. Lingering old blood during periods isn't unusual. However, monitor such occurrences. Take advice from healthcare providers if the issue doesn't resolve itself. Sudden changes demand professional opinion. Stay calm, but vigilant.

I am a 23 year old female. I have been having my period for 9 days now with sharp pains on my lower tummy and down there, what can be an issue?
Female | 23
The sharp aches in your lower belly could mean endometriosis. This happens when the uterus lining grows outside, causing pain and heavy flow. Seeing a gynecologist is key for diagnosis and treatment.

I was done my sex on 13 April my periods was 22 April till today my period not came any problem

Maybe you're pregnant if you had unprotected intercourse. But wait, there are other reasons too! Like stress, hormone imbalance, or certain meds. You might feel bloated, tender breasts, moody. Take a pregnancy test at home, then see your gynecologist to get to the bottom of it.

Good day. My period is 4 days, I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago. I don’t have any pregnancy symptoms. I’ve also been stressed these past couple of days
Female | 18
Feeling anxious is understandable. Sometimes stress impacts your menstrual cycle, causing delays or irregularities. If you haven't experienced pregnancy indicators and it's only been a fortnight since unprotected intimacy, detecting pregnancy might be premature.

I'm not getting my periods for one month. I haven't been in any sexual activity.
Female | 21
If you're missing a period, don't worry. Period changes happen sometimes. And if you haven't had sex, it might be stress or weight issues. You could feel bloated or moody. But if it keeps happening, ask a gynecologist for help.
