Hello. I have been diagnosed with underactive thyroid since 3 weeks and I was prescribe with L Thyroxin 25. On the 1st week I started to take it everyday in the morning 30 min before breakfast, everything was fine. Then on 2nd week, I started again my birth control pills which is Asumate 30. And from the moment that I have started again my birth control pills and the L Thyroxin 25, I have been having diarrhea problem for 2 weeks until today still on going. I am not sure what is the issue , can you help please ?

I think you might have a stomach upset. When you take birth control pills with L Thyroxin, you might experience diarrhea. This could mean that the combo is affecting your gut. Keep yourself hydrated and consider taking the drugs at different times during the day. If it doesn’t stop, talk to a doctor so they can advise accordingly.

I am a 17 year old female and i have been experiencing a ticker in the back of my throat for the last few days that is making me have “coughing attacks” and make me feel nauseous. I started getting pains in my chest today aswell and i was wondering what this was

You may have acid reflux. This is when the stomach contents come back up into your throat and cause a burning sensation as well as coughing. It may also make you feel sick to your stomach or give you chest pains. You should avoid eating large meals, such as spicy or fatty foods. Moreover, you shouldn’t lie down immediately after eating. I was wondering what to do about my medical situation: I’ve been experiencing few weeks: -Anal discomfort from constipation -bowel leakage - anal itchiness for a due to Background: I had a loop colostomy put in the descending colon but what it seems To me is that some stool bypassed the colostomy and got to the area in the rectum that is damaged, and so its just staying inside the rectum, I can’t seem to have a bowel movement because of the damage in that area and I can’t seem to get it out. because of having the colostomy, I know there isn’t a serious problem like a blockage. but I’m feeling really uncomfortable due to the the leakages and itchiness at the anal area. From past experience Enemas and laxatives and suppositories haven’t been helpful with my constipation. What can I do?
