Hello, I am from Guwahati (Assam) and my age is 50 years. For the last 12-13 years, I am having a problem with writing. During writing, my hand tremors a lot and therefore I have very bad and illegible handwriting. Since the time when I started experiencing this problem I have been visiting several neurologists in Guwahati but till today I am still experiencing the same problem. I have been told by my Doctors' that it is a case of weakness in my Finger nerves. Kindly advise me what I should do to overcome my problem or suggest to whom can I be consulted for my problem?

Hello, As per medical history given by you, we understand that you have shown to many doctors but with no help. You can still consider a neurologist's opinion. But sometimes these kinds of symptoms can also be stress or anxiety related. So we would suggest you kindly consult a psychiatrist too. He will assess your case and if there is no underlying medical cause he may help you. Moreover, there are many therapists who work on the development of muscle strength. A psychiatrist may be of help since there is a possibility of a lot of stress and anxiety build-up due to long illness. Wish you a speedy recovery. Keeping in mind that you require a holistic approach for this disorder, we are linking following pages for you hoping that it will help - a.) Psychiatrists in India, b.) Best Neurologist in India.

We are extremely sorry for replying late and look up to you for your noble thoughts & causes. As far as donating organs is concerned, in India you would have to take permission from Authorization committee. And if you are below 18 then you would need to have consent of your parents as well. Then you can go to a hospital and consult doctors. If you wish to learn what possible tests you would have to go through for donor-recipient compatibility test, then you can refer this blog - Kidney Transplant cost in India. And this might help you out in terms of finding suitable hospital - Best Kidney Transplant Hospitals in India.

I want to change my face to another face is that possible??

Answered on 24th July '21

The features of your face can change a little, such as cheeks, nose, lips, or eyes, but the bones of your face won't change and they provide the ultimate structure to your face, thus it's not important that post surgery you will be able to look like someone else. However, you would have a slightly better and youthful looking face. Also, if you carry conditions like diabetes, hypertension, uncontrolled thyroid, asthma, pre-existing cardiac problems, bleeding disorder, or is allergic to certain drugs, then you may avoid going for a surgery. For this surgery you would have to approach hospitals, and the department will be aesthetic surgery - which is a sub-specialty of plastic surgery. You can read our blog if you wish to have a basic idea of how much different treatments meant to enhance your facial features can cost - the Cost of Plastic Surgery in India. And for relevant hospitals you can sift through this page - Best Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery Hospitals in India.

At present, there are 3 clinical treatments to help you get rid of dark circles:
i.) Skin lightening creams: they help in bringing down the darkness below your eyes.
ii.) Laser therapy: the heat produced by this ray of light helps in vaporizing damaged cells which are present under your eyes.
iii.) Chemical peel: a mix of certain acids which are useful for your skin, will be applied to your skin to peel off later on.
Additionally, there are slightly invasive surgical procedures too, one will be concerned with removal of fat from the lids of your eyes if their shadow makes it seem as if you have dark circles, which is known as blepharoplasty, and the other procedure would involve injecting certain acids into the tissues under your eyes, as recommended by trained specialists, so as to subdue volume loss underneath your eyes, they are known as fillers. You can try Minoxidil, it is an over the counter drug which comes in liquid, foam or shampoo form, it is to be applied on the scalp twice regularly for men, and once regularly for women. It will take months for you to judge its outcome, but if it proves beneficial for you then you can continue using it. Possible side effects that could accompany, are scalp irritation along with growth of hair on unwanted regions such as adjacent skin of the face and/or hands. If this doesn't work then dermatologists would have stronger medicinal treatments & better lifestyle fixes, and they may eventually progress to hair transplant surgery, but that is if your hair fall causes balding and doesn't stops. For your ease, we have linked our page where you will find numerous practitioners who provide services at affordable rates - Hair Loss Treatment doctors in Lucknow, let us know if you want us to cover anything more or if you reside in a different place, and also, you can come to us anytime you need our guidance!

The cure for this infection is keeping the area dry and applying medicated creams with anti-fungal properties. This can be treated by a dermatologist only, and you would be required to approach them again in the event that your condition sees incomplete clearing up even 3 weeks after the treatment has been received by you. You may find experts on our page - Fungal Infection Treatment doctors in Delhi, let us know if your city is different or if you have any concern related to this or any other medical issue!

There's no established consensus amongst doctors regarding whether it works or not, but some studies have claimed that it can be effective, so we will say that you can give it a try.
However, it's our responsibility to make you aware of all the risks involved, which by the way would come with any kind of treatment by default. So as PRP involves injecting your own platelet rich blood at the site where balding is observed, therefore injecting may cause injury to blood vessel, infection, calcification, or scarring.
Also, you may not be an ideal candidate for this treatment if you: are using blood thinners, is heavy smokers, or is guilty of alcohol/drug intake, and also if you have been diagnosed with these in past: acute or chronic infections, cancer, liver disease, skin disease, hemodynamic instability, hypofibrinogenemia, metabolic disorder, platelet dysfunction syndromes, systemic disorder, sepsis, low platelet count, thyroid disease.
If you wish to learn of what medical tests are crucial before you take you this treatment, the scope of this treatment in terms of different hair conditions, and the post-treatment regime to care for your hair, then our blog will be helpful for you - PRP Hair Treatment.
Lastly, we are also attaching our page which enlists surgeons who have a proven track record of success and a far better understanding of what this treatment would entail for you - Prp Treatment doctors in Delhi. Only option for you here is to head to a dermatologist. Not all such lumps are cancerous but it's always safe to get them tested, and more importantly, for removal of same you will either need a surgery, or steroid injections, or liposuction. You can refer this page to contact doctors who have a better understanding - Dermatologists in India. And drop us a message anytime you need some guidance!

The relevant specialist will perform either of the 2 surgeries which we have mentioned below:
Surgical excision: Entire mole will be cut out, post which the skin would be stitched closed if it's necessary.
Surgical shave: Your mole will be shaved off using a blade.
Post surgery your mole will be examined by the doctor to detect presence of cancerous cells, and your dermatologist will update you if they are.
They should cost you between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 25,000, depending on clinic location, doctor expertise, and size/depth of mole.
Anesthesia will be supplied, but as far as after effects are concerned, you will experience discomfort or irritation.
You can get in touch with the experts, through our page, if you intend to know more, our trusted experts will take you through the process in a detailed manner - Dermatologists in India. Also, mole shouldn't grow back but if they do then show yourself to the doctor.
