My seven years old daughter's behaviour is little bit different from other children. Although she is good in academic. But she thinks herself smaller than her age and behave accordingly. Please guide what should we do. She is a sesiorion baby at 36 week. When she started siting her neck was tilted towards right shoulder. Her right eye is weak. She puts her finger in her eyes. Hi , I just found out that my daughter has swelling on her right side of head, is it normal? She's been born on 7 dec 9 days ago, she came to the world by normal delivery. Her swelling is soft and not painful when touching, its size is almost 1 inch approx , her feeding is good, and she doesn't have any coughing or fever . She has jaundice with yellow eyes. I am so worried let me know please.

The swelling, in newborns, can sometimes be normal, particularly when it is not very thick and does not cause any discomfort. This could be because the baby is not lying in the best position or that they have a small fluid collection. On the other hand, jaundice is very common in babies, which means that babies should be observed all the time. Babies can ge­t colic and gas. Colic is when babies cry intense­ly. Gas makes babies uncomfortable. It happe­ns when they swallow air while fe­eding. Or, they have a se­nsitive tummy. Try massaging their stomach gently. Burp the­m frequently during fee­dings too. Keep their surroundings quie­t and calm. Don't overfeed the­m quickly. Keep them upright afte­r feedings. Warm baths and gentle­ rocking might help soothe them too. With the­se tips, your baby should feel be­tter soon.
