The pain might also affect your other teeth nearby. Try rinsing your mouth with warm salt water - this can help to reduce the pain and swelling. You may want to take over-the-counter painkillers such as ibuprofen too. If the pain does not go away or gets worse, then it is best if you see a dentist as soon as possible.

I am a 49 year old woman and have 2 crowns and 2 veneers for my four front teeth. The two front teeth are veneers and the two incisors are crowns. My two front teeth are old luminaire veneers and I want them replaced but I was told that I would have to replace all four teeth to get the best results.
