Could my symptoms be related to vaping and inactivity?

Patient's Query

Here is all information that might be useful or help; I used to smoke cigarettes then switched to vaping 3yrs ago. Tends to sit a lot more than normal. Feeling extreme fatigue even after sleeping. Some loss of appetite. Frequent headaches. Bad teeth, can’t afford dental help. Swelling in feet & legs. It all started with burning back pain between shoulder blades, hurt more towards bottom left shoulder blade area. Chest achyness & Chest pain coming from middle of chest & goes across entire top collar bone/chest area from shoulder to shoulder. Having episodes of heart palpitations with scary feelings of panic/doom whenever it happens. Feels like a panic attack but a lot worse/amplified. If I sit/lay down & completely relax my body or go to sleep, the back pain goes away, the chest pain eases off but upon awakening my chest/arms feel extremely sore & weak. The other day I also had extreme soreness & pain in my left arm, the top backside of arm & the underside from wrist to elbow area. Top of My left hand was a bit swollen. That went away with rest as well but now that arm feels weird/sore a lot. (Didn’t know if that’s even related) Whenever I stand up for longer than like 30mins or I’m walking around, my back starts back up with the burning/hurting & my chest feels more sore/painful. The longer I’m up the worse it feels so I eventually end up sitting back down or laying down so it’ll ease off again. Also, It doesn’t hurt to breath at all.

Based on what you're describing, it's important to consider a few things. The chest pain, back pain, swelling in your legs, and palpitations could be related to your heart or possibly even issues with your lungs. The arm pain and swelling may indicate some nerve or circulation problems. Given your history of smoking and vaping, there could be some impact on your cardiovascular health. It's essential to have a thorough evaluation by a cardiologist, including a cardiovascular assessment and possibly some blood tests. In the meantime, try to avoid prolonged sitting or standing, elevate your legs when possible, and stay hydrated. If you experience any sudden worsening of symptoms or chest pain, seek immediate medical attention.
