Hi Hajra, I understand that you are experiencing acute pain on the left side of your ribcage. This may be caused by the inflammation of the tissues around your ribs which is associated with your rheumatic heart disease. It is commonly known as costochondritis. The pain can be aggravated by coughing or taking deep breaths.
