ST-T Elevation on ECG: Heart Attack Possibility?
Patient's Query
hi sir my name harish kumar i have chest pain, so i did ecg it showed ST-T elevation, and done 2d Echo but is normal, Troponin negative, cholestrol normal, blood test normal serum cretainne normal, is there any heart attack
Answered by Dr. Bhaskar Semitha
A reading called ST-T elevation on the ECG test can mean heart issues. Since your 2D Echo and Troponin tests were okay, that's good news! The tests for cholesterol, blood, and creatinine levels also looked normal, which is great. Sometimes chest pain has other causes, like acid reflux or muscle strain. You should talk to your cardiologist if the pain continues or worsens.
