High total and LDL cholesterol levels detected, but low HDL cholesterol. Heart disease risk elevated. No symptoms for high cholesterol. Causes are poor diet, inactivity, heredity. To improve levels: eat healthy foods, exercise regularly, quit smoking. Medication may help, as advised by a cardiologist.
