A minimal recovery heart rate and poor response to physical activity coupled with fatigue and weight gain may signify an underlying problem. These could be attributed for example to conditions such as anemia or an underactive thyroid gland but also heart diseases among others. Seek help from a cardiologist for proper diagnosis.
