Questions & Answers on "Anemia Treatment" (167)

hi Dr,I went for a blood test some time before and some of my tests came out high.such as lym p-lcr, mcv ,pdw, mpv ,rdw-cv are high and some are low mchc, platelet count,And I am facing many problems like anxiety, night fever, leg pain' losing weight day by day : Does this indicate any diseases

Male | 20

Your blood test results have come back as abnormal. Generally, high levels of lym p-lc, MCV, PDW, mpv, and rdw-cv, in the case of low MHC and platelet count, can indicate various conditions. Your symptoms of anxiety, night fever, leg pain, and weight loss are bothersome. These abnormal results and symptoms may be linked to health issues such as anemia, infections, or inflammatory conditions. A doctor's follow-up is necessary for detailed diagnosis and treatment of the problem.

Hi.. I'm always struggling with being very skinny and I can't gain weight and my iron level always drops, I did blood analysis and everything was good except iron level. I reached many doctors and they gave up because the diagnosis still dim ????. Thanks in advance doctor .

The typical symptoms of iron defusion consist of fatigue, weakness, and trouble gaining weight. The most prevalent cause of low iron is that you don't get enough of it in your diet. Iron-rich foods such as red meat, beans, and green leaves can do a good help. Besides consuming iron supplements, which should be prescribed by a doctor, one will also be able to improve one's iron levels. Don't forget to see your doctor to get more directions.

I have WBC 4.53 out of 5-10 normal range. My Neutrophils NEU % 43.3 with normal range 50-62 and lymphoctes lym% 49.2 with normal range 25-40. What does this mean? I used 2 weeks antibiotics for my UTI but this was 3 months ago

Female | 24

Your most recent blood test results show that your leukocyte count and various kinds of cells are slightly outside the range of normal. This might suggest that your body is still in the process of recovering from the urinary tract infection you had three months ago. The antibiotics you have been taking could influence these numbers, too. Ensure you drink enough water, consume a healthy diet, and observe any new symptoms that may arise.
