Questions & Answers on "Cerebral Palsy Treatment" (326)

Please I'm 20 years old, please I've been experiencing severe dizziness these days and I don't know what is causing that. It actually started last 2 years but when it comes and I relax on bed it'll suddenly go itself but since Wednesday 5th June, 2025 till now it's not going no matter how long I rest it's still not going and I don't know the cause. Please is there anything I must know

Male | 20

Dizziness is often caused by things like not drinking enough water, having low blood sugar, problems with the inner ear, or even just feeling stressed out. It might be best if this has been happening for some time to go and see a doctor. The appointment would be with a healthcare provider who can know why you feel dizzy and will treat you.

I have been suffering from dizziness spells and poor balance, with buckling of knees and general weakness it lasts for 2-3 weeks and it's mostly starts with a severe one sided headache. The last episode was 3 months ago. Now I feel a bit out of balance and a bit weak in the knees. I have hypertension and it's controlled. When I went to the doctor for the three episodes of dizziness, the last time he said it's suspected MS but dismissed it after I felt better after I finished the medication. What should I do now?

Female | 28

The symptoms you mentioned may point to different causes like problems in the inner ear or variations in blood pressure. Since the last attack was a couple of months ago, it’s good that things have gotten better. Nonetheless, if they return or become worse than before, don’t hesitate to see your doctor immediately. Keep noting down how you feel and when it happens. Sharing this information with the doctor will assist in diagnosing what might be happening and devising an appropriate intervention plan.

I am 13 year old female and I have a headache and nausea. It started in the evening I cried after that I felt dizzy. I slept and when I woke up I was dizzy and nauseous. Do you know why it is like that?

Female | 13

Feeling headaches and nausea could be from several reasons. You might get this when you’re very upset or stressed because you’ve been crying a lot. Being lightheaded might also make someone feel like throwing up. Perhaps you twisted oddly in sleep or didn’t have enough to drink yesterday. Try lying down in a quiet room for some time; have a glassful of water and eat something small if possible.

I am 22 years old male I have headache in back side of head and stiff neck somedays I feel drowsiness all the day and headache is severe Sometimes it hurts very bad

Male | 22

It seems like you might be having tension headaches. These usually cause aching at the back of the head and make your neck feel stiff. Another symptom is always feeling tired and wanting to sleep. Ensure that you rest well, manage stress and maintain a good posture habit. In case the problem persists then I would advise you see a doctor who will give further guidance after examining you.
