He has completed his MBBS from Mysore medical college in 1988, MD - Paediatrics from Mysore Univeristy in 1993, Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH, London and Glasgow or Edinburgh) from Membership of Royal College of Physicians in 1999. He carries his medicinal practice at Apollo Bgs Hospitals in Kuvempunagar(Mysore). He is a respected member of Indian Medical Association (IMA).
