Hello Doctor, I had a mild throat infection since yesterday. After taking a long bath, one of my ears got blocked. I have mild ear pain and reduced (not complete) hearing in that ear. A medical store gave ear drops containing paradichlorobenzene, benzocaine, chlorbutol and turpentine oil, and I used 2 drops once by mistake. Is it safe to continue this ear drop in my condition? If not, what is the correct treatment or alternative I should follow? Please advise

Am a 27 Y/O female. I got a cold about 2 weeks ago and I’m having a hard time getting over it. I still have wheezing, a wet cough, extreme fatigue, and phlegm, but my main issue is that my ear became very “stuffy” and it felt like there was fluid In Them. I wake up with drainage, and they pop often. I have pictures of my inner ear to share for more detail. I had tubes when I was young, and I had a very traumatic accident happen while they were in place, and my ears have been a pain ever since. I get extremely painful pressure when I fly to the point where I cry the whole flight if I don’t have my special ear plugs. And heaven forbid I get an ear infection.
