I have whistling sound in my left ear for last two months.this problem started after using hydrogen peroxide in this ear.i have consulted to ent specialist.after checking the dr said to me don't worry ear drum is in ok condition.somd tablets I have used but no relief got
Male | 32
Persistent whistle in your left ear may be related to fluid or sensitivity following hydrogen peroxide exposure. While it's reassuring that your eardrum is intact, this sound could come from issues like Eustachian tube dysfunction or residual earwax. It’s important to stay in touch with your ENT specialist, as they can provide targeted treatments or further evaluations if necessary. In the meantime, try avoiding irritating substances and keep your ears dry.

Ear pain could signal an ear infection. Symptoms like ear ache, hearing difficulty, and fever can occur. Bacteria or viruses often cause these infections. I'm curious to know whether i have heard problem or no
Female | 20
The cause of this can be a result of, for example, ear infections, loud noises, or simply getting older. For instance, some symptoms that one may experience involve difficulty following the conversation, asking others to repeat themselves, or increasing the volume of devices. You can go to an audiologist for a hearing test. If needed, an audiologist can suggest many products from wearable hearing aids to an implanted hearing device.

I am 15 years old and I’ve had a really bad tonsil pain on the right side for the last 4 days, my tonsil looks swollen and it has a bunch of white stuff around it and it bleeds every once in a while. What should I do?
Female | 15
You could have tonsillitis. When your tonsils, which are small organs in the back of your throat, get infected or inflamed, it's called tonsillitis. Symptoms may include throat pain, swollen tonsils with white patches and sometimes bleeding. To relieve these symptoms you must drink fluids, rest well, and gargle with warm salt water gently. In case they persist or worsen, you should consult an ENT specialist for further evaluation and treatment.

My name is Abbas Ali I'm 22 years old. And I'm facing problems with my throat and in vocal glands from 6 months and now I have cough and blocked nose. And difficulties to talked it takes me more energy to talked. And some times difficult to breathe
Male | 22
Cough, blocked nose, and difficulty speaking could be due to a variety of reasons such as allergies, a viral infection, or even vocal strain. In fact, the difficulty breathing could be related to the underlying issue affecting your throat and airways. I would recommend you see a ENT specialist for a thorough evaluation. In the meantime, try to rest your voice, stay hydrated, and use a humidifier to ease your breathing.

Hi my name is Rachael and I went to see the doctor and they said that I have an ear infection I'm my right ear I'm already on antibiotics and ear drops i don't remember the brand of the antibiotics I don't know my medications that I take
Female | 31
An ear infection can cause discomfort, including pain, drainage, and sometimes hearing difficulties. Typically, these are due to bacteria or viruses. Since you're already on antibiotics and using ear drops, you're on the right path for recovery. Make sure to complete the full course of your antibiotics even if you start feeling better. Staying hydrated and resting will also aid healing. If symptoms worsen or persist, please reach out to your ENT specialist for further evaluation.

If I look inside my nose in the mirror with flash on the pink fleshy part is really close together in each nostril. Does this mean enlarged turbinates? And does it go away on its own? I woke up with a blocked nose 2 days ago randomly and my nose has been feeling congested since. If I close my mouth I can’t breathe through my nose. If I blow air out of my nostrils I can only feel it coming out of one nostril and it alternates between each nostril. I was able to breathe normally with my mouth completely closed just 2 days ago. How can I fix this? There is some mucus but not a lot.
Female | 25
The pink fleshy parts you see are likely normal structures, but they may appear enlarged during congestion. This condition can improve over time. To alleviate symptoms, try using saline nasal sprays, staying hydrated, and inhaling steam. If symptoms persist or worsen, seeing a healthcare professional for a thorough evaluation is a good idea to rule out any underlying issues and receive appropriate treatment.

I got into a car crash back in April 2022 when I was 17 years old. I took my eyes off the road was fiddling with the car radio, my head was turned towards the right and I crash the passenger side of my car into a telephone pole and all the airbags deployed. I didn’t get any facial or body injuries. I got diagnosed with bilateral tinnitus from an ENT doctor but they didn’t find any damage when they did a physical examination. I did a hearing test and I have a little bit of hearing loss. Based on my hearing test is my tinnitus permanent or temporary?
Male | 19
Tinnitus either lasts temporarily or permanently, based on what causes it. With your hearing loss, your tinnitus could become long-term. It's crucial to continue seeing your ENT doctor. They'll evaluate further and monitor your condition properly.

It appears that you have a prolonged sore throat which may be due to hidden factors such as allergies, post-nasal drip, or even acid reflux. Therefore, it is possible to feel discomfort if speaking for a long time. You can reduce the symptoms by keeping your fluid intake high and by using a humidifier in the case of dry environments. Patients should also use Throat lozenges. On the other hand, since this is a recurring issue over many years, I very strongly suggest speaking with a healthcare professional.

I'm 24 years old person I'm facing a throat issue I can't drink water, side of my throat I'm threatening more pain I can't eat too
Male | 24
Based on your description, it appears that you are experiencing a lot of pain, making it hard to swallow liquids and solid foods. The possible causes could be an infection, inflammation, or allergies. Keeping water intake might be difficult, so have warm broths or herbal teas instead of water. Pain relievers bought over the counter can alleviate the pain to some extent. Still, these are just temporary remedies. It is my firm belief that you should obtain accurate and professional help from healthcare practitioners to diagnose the source and give you the preferred therapeutic regimen. The most important thing for you is to be healthy, and therefore, a clinician, knowing your specific case, is in a position to offer the most suitable professional support and attention.

Ear pain could have various causes. At times, it's an ear infection, wax ear accumulates, and changes in air pressure, among others. Avoid putting anything into your ear is one of the most critical things to try to do. A warm cloth on the ear can provide some relief of discomfort, and it may help to rest in a quiet place. Male | 21
You might have tonsillitis, where your tonsils (the two lumps at the back of your throat) become swollen and inflamed. This can be caused by bacteria or viruses. The inflammation could be why you feel pain while eating and swallowing, and the white patches indicate an infection. It's important to see an ENT specilaist, as they may recommend antibiotics to treat the infection. Meanwhile, drink plenty of fluids and avoid very hot or spicy foods.

Pain in back could be due to a muscle strain from lifting something heavy or even from poor posture. In fact, sometimes, even stress can cause muscle tension leading to back pain. The best thing to do right now is to try some gentle stretching exercises and apply a warm compress to the area. If the pain persists or gets worse, it's a good idea to see an orthopedist for a proper evaluation.
