Male | 54
Vocal nodules are injuries akin to calluses on the vocal cords that can be caused by either overusing your voice or speaking improperly. The result can be a hoarse or unclear voice. Fortunately, the result of the cancer test is negative. A voice therapist, avoiding vocal strain, and the rest of the voice can help you improve your voice.

My aunt suffering with black fungus, symptoms are observed 3 days before will she recover Please reply sir
Female | 55
Black fungus is a disease that can occur in people with weakened immune systems, like those who have uncontrolled diabetes. Symptoms can involve a stuffy nose, facial pain, swelling, and black crusts in the nose. Treatment every time requires antifungal medication and, in some cases, surgery. Recovery is possible with a good approach that includes beginning treatment early and it depends on the individual health condition. Find an ENT specialist to treat this condition.

Good evening. I had a sore throat on Thursday. The next two days I had no symptoms except Sunday and then I have a mild headache that worsens with vigorous movements and weakened mucus. It is accompanied by green mucus and fevers (mainly in the afternoon for the last two days) ranging from 36.9°C to 37.7°C. Can you tell me what to do to deal with it and what are the possible causes as I am worried? Thanks!"
Male | 15
You have a sore throat, headache, green mucus, and fevers. These symptoms can belong to the respiratory infection and can be treated with antibiotic rest and a lot of fluids. It's necessary to stay hydrated, sleep properly, and think about using a humidifier. If symptoms continue, it's a good idea to visit an ENT doctor.

I have had a cold for a couple days. Mucus secretions, sore throat, generally feeling under the weather. On one of the days, my right ear started to feel like water was trapped inside. It still has to gotten better. When I speak, I feel like I am under water. It doesnt hurt, but my hearing is diminished. How can I fix it?
Female | 25
It sounds like you're experiencing typical symptoms of a common cold, which can affect sinuses and lead to feelings of pressure or fluid in the ears. This sensation, along with diminished hearing, may result from fluid buildup. For relief, consider using a warm compress on your ear, staying hydrated, and trying steam inhalation to help clear sinus passages. Over-the-counter decongestants may also be beneficial. If symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation and guidance.

First of all, I woke up with a weird feeling in my mouth. My saliva was extremely dry…I had to try take water but then I realized something shocking. It was initially tough to swallow my saliva like I had a sore throat but that wasn’t it. I felt my uvula come towards my tongue when I tried to gag. I checked the mirror and saw that my uvula got very long just overnight
Male | 24
Uvulitis is when your uvula swells up. The uvula hangs at the back of your throat. Infections, allergies, or snoring while asleep can cause it. You might feel something in your throat. Swallowing may be difficult, and your throat might hurt. Drinking lots of water helps. Gargling warm saltwater soothes. If symptoms don't go away, see an ENT specialist.

I'm curious to know whether i have heard problem or no
Female | 20
The cause of this can be a result of, for example, ear infections, loud noises, or simply getting older. For instance, some symptoms that one may experience involve difficulty following the conversation, asking others to repeat themselves, or increasing the volume of devices. You can go to an audiologist for a hearing test. If needed, an audiologist can suggest many products from wearable hearing aids to an implanted hearing device.

Hey I am 35 years old I been getting throat pain in my left ear and throat
Male | 35
An aching throat that extends toward your left ear may indicate that you have infected ears or a sore throat. You might have the feeling that your throat is scratchy and it could be painful to swallow. At times, even when chewing or talking the pain may worsen. To relieve your throat, take warm liquids such as tea and water. If this condition persists or becomes severe, visit an ENT specialist.

Ear infection and vertigo in head
Male | 36
Ear infections may give you vertigo, making you dizzy and feel like the room is spinning. Since infections impact your inner ear's balance mechanism, this happens. Ear infection symptoms are ear pain, hearing issues, and drainage. Your ENT specialist might prescribe antibiotics and recommend resting to treat the infection and vertigo.

Female | 20
Having a swollen lymph node in your neck for a long period isn't normal. Since it's been there awhile and hurts when using your laptop, checking with a doctor makes sense. This lasting lump could come from an infection or inflammation nearby. Seeing a ENT specialist will help discover the reason and the right treatment approach.

Dear Doctor, I'm an 18-year-old male. About 15-16 days ago, I had a really bad cold with symptoms including a sore throat, headache, and fever. After 7-8 days, my cold symptoms healed, but I still had a sore throat, hoarse voice, a completely blocked right ear, and I was constantly coughing up green mucus. Four days ago, I visited a doctor and was prescribed moxifloxacin 400mg once a day for 5 days (today is day 3). While my coughing has generally decreased, I still have a sore throat and my right ear is still blocked, although it did briefly open for a few minutes yesterday. This has been ongoing for three weeks, and I'm starting to lose hope as I'm not sure what I have or if I'll get better. In addition to moxifloxacin, here are the other medications I'm currently taking: Nasacort AQ (once a day) - today is day 6 Phenadone (twice a day) - today is day 8 Nexium (once a day) - today is day 6 Ganaton (three times a day) - today is day 6 Seretide Accuhaler Diskus (twice a day) - today is day 8 Polymer Adult Hypertonic 3% (twice a day) - today is day 3 Could you please help me understand what might be causing these persistent symptoms and advise on any further steps I should take? Thank you for your assistance.
Male | 18
When someone coughs up green phlegm, that means they have an infection. Your condition may be because of a stubborn bacterial infection which will need more time to completely clear up. Take your medicine as prescribed and ensure you finish the full course of antibiotics. If your symptoms continue or get worse then I think it’d be wise for you to go to an ENT specialist so they can conduct further tests on you.

You may have a sinus infection. This will include pain in the eyes and face, plus a fever, headache, and stomach pain. Sinus infections are typically treated by resting, drinking a lot of water, and antibiotics if it is severe. Visit an ENT specialist for this. Remember to take care and also rest as much as you can.

Feeling repeated sound in ear when someone says something and having history of ringing in years
Male | 18
You might have a medical condition known as "tinnitus". It can be accompanied by ringing in the ears and even the illusion of hearing someone else’s voice echoing. Causes could be exposure to loud noises, ear infections, or even stress. In this regard, you should reduce your exposure to environmental noise, stress-excessively manage your life without resorting to medicines, and use background noise.

Hello. In a month I will have a nasal septum surgery (Septoplasty). I would like to know how to prepare for the surgery, what tests to perform, how long the procedure will take, how long the recovery will take after the procedure and whether I should have a new CT scan of the face (the old CT scan of the face is 2 years old). I would also like to get an opinion based on the documentation of the CT scan of the face whether my case is serious? : CT scan of the paranasal sinuses - examination performed without intravenous contrast agent In the posterior ethmoid on the right side, inflammatory thickening of the mucosa up to 7 mm. In the posterior ethmoid on the left side, inflammatory thickening of the mucosa up to 4 mm. In the alveolar recess of the right maxillary sinus, inflammatory thickening of the mucosa of approx. 1 mm In the medial wall of the right maxillary sinus at the level of the middle nasal meatus, a loss of continuity of approx. 2.5 mm - variant The frontal sinuses and the sphenoid sinus on both sides, the maxillary sinus on the left, are normally free of inflammatory thickening of the mucosa. The ostia-ductal complexes are patent on both sides Aeration of the middle nasal turbinate on the left, type II The mucosa of the middle nasal turbinates and the inferior nasal turbinates was significantly thickened on both sides. The bony nasal septum in the upper part is deviated by up to 6 mm to the right, in the lower part it is deviated by up to 4 mm to the left
Male | 28
To get your nasal septum surgery, you need blood tests and maybe a nasal swab. The surgery is expected to last from 1-2 hours. The recovery time may be different, but you might have to keep still for a few days. Your old CT scan is nice, but doing the new one preoperatively is a good idea. Your case is not so serious, however, the surgery will be a positive thing for you in terms of breathing and reduced infections.
