Hi doctor I have nasal drip from last two months and not getting well and i am allergic to cocunut and have sometimes green mucus coming from mouth sometimes why
Male | 14
Lingering nasal drips have mucus flowing down your throat's back constantly. Green mucus often signifies an infection. Being allergic to coconut might irritate and worsen this issue. To relieve symptoms, use saline nasal sprays and stay hydrated well. If it doesn't get better, consider consult an allergist/ ENT specilaist who can help further.

My daughter aged about 30 yrs. Since afternoon today facing tremendous pain in right ear. What should I do. I have given her Zerodol p after consulting with one doctor over phone. Now pain is slightly low than before.
Female | 30
Ear pain in adults could be due to different causes, such as ear infections, wax buildup, or maybe even some problems with the jaw. It is so nice of you to give Zerodol P, it can help with pain and inflammation. If the pain is not subsiding or is worsening, go to an ENT doctor for a thorough examination and the necessary treatment.

Female | 32
Experiencing sudden pain in your ear can be concerning. This discomfort may arise from several factors, such as an ear infection, fluid buildup, or even sinus issues. Over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen or acetaminophen can help alleviate the pain temporarily. However, it’s essential to consult a ENT specialist for a thorough evaluation. They can determine the exact cause and provide tailored treatment options.

My aunt suffering with black fungus, symptoms are observed 3 days before will she recover Please reply sir
Female | 55
Black fungus is a disease that can occur in people with weakened immune systems, like those who have uncontrolled diabetes. Symptoms can involve a stuffy nose, facial pain, swelling, and black crusts in the nose. Treatment every time requires antifungal medication and, in some cases, surgery. Recovery is possible with a good approach that includes beginning treatment early and it depends on the individual health condition. Find an ENT specialist to treat this condition.

I have had a cold for a couple days. Mucus secretions, sore throat, generally feeling under the weather. On one of the days, my right ear started to feel like water was trapped inside. It still has to gotten better. When I speak, I feel like I am under water. It doesnt hurt, but my hearing is diminished. How can I fix it?
Female | 25
Mucus buildup can cause a sensation of fullness in the ear, leading to muffled hearing, as the Eustachian tubes may become blocked. Staying well-hydrated, using steam inhalation, or saline nasal sprays may help alleviate the congestion. If symptoms persist, or if you experience pain or fever, it’s essential to consult a healthcare professional. They can check for any underlying issues and provide appropriate treatment.

Ear pain , ear paining for almost 3-4 hours
Male | 18
Ear pain could have various causes. At times, it's an ear infection, wax ear accumulates, and changes in air pressure, among others. Avoid putting anything into your ear is one of the most critical things to try to do. A warm cloth on the ear can provide some relief of discomfort, and it may help to rest in a quiet place. If the pain persists, visit an ENT specialist.

I am a 16 year old male, and I have been experiencing earaches that sometimes come and go, it feels only a little but is disturbing, it first happened in the right ear and then in the left ear and has been going on for more than 2 months until now, I have visited an ENT doctor and was told that my ear paper is fine, just a little red and was prescribed antibiotics and painkillers for a week but that seems to be gone a month ago, I have been feeling the pain until now, I never cover my ears when I shower because I have OCD, I also always use earphones but since I had the earache I have used the volume one to three, and I also seem to hear a whooshing and ticking sound often,
Male | 15
You've been struggling with earaches for a long time already. The redness of the ears is a sign of inflammation. Your earphones habit and not covering your ears while showering may have some impact on this problem. The whooshing and ticking sound you hear might be connected to the earaches. It may be better to reduce earphone usage and keep your ears dry. When the pain doesn't go away, check with your ENT doctor for additional tests.

Male | 16
Tinnitus may be caused by exposure to loud noises, ear infections, or even stress. To decrease the ringing in the ears, consider using the white noise machine at night or do not play music that is too loud. Also, visiting an ENT specialist is the best option for getting a proper evaluation.

Now the report is "Suggestive of left maxillary sinusitis with right maxillary antral polyp and rhinitis". Now what should we do?

If you still feel sound in your ears and your report shows left maxillary sinusitis with a right maxillary antral polyp and rhinitis, it is important to follow up with an ENT specialist. They can provide you with the best treatment options for your condition.

Hi! I am 25 years old female I have severe pain and seellung in my ear I have been sick with flu from last week when it was clear my ear pain started. In my past i have ruptured ear drum but using ear drops my infection cleared After six years i again sick with ear infection
Female | 25
Pain and swelling in your ear can result from infections, especially following flu symptoms. Since you have a history of eardrum issues, it's crucial to monitor these symptoms closely. Utilizing warm compresses may provide temporary relief, and over-the-counter pain relievers can help manage discomfort. However, I strongly advise consulting a healthcare professional for a thorough examination. They can determine the underlying cause and recommend appropriate treatment, which may include antibiotics or further care.

My ear problem si contact ent doctor
Male | 48
Issues related to the ear can be reflected in pain, uneasiness, or difficulty with the ear. Typical triggers consist in infections, allergies, or wax buildup. To ameliorate the condition, the first way to go is to take over-the-counter painkillers and apply hot compresses. Nevertheless, it's very important to go to get a specialist's view particularly if the symptoms don't improve, deteriorate, or in case there occurs fever or liquid drainage. An ears, nose, and throat specialist with a great deal of experience can properly diagnose you and recommend suitable treatments tailored to you. Keeping a healthy body should come first.

I cant hear properly for last 7 days (left ear) I think, its because of heavy ear wax. I once had this problem. So i guessed it. Now what should i do?
Female | 23
Ear wax buildup blocks sound. That could explain hearing trouble. You hear worse in one ear. Also, ear fullness, and discomfort too. Try ear drops first, and soften the wax. If that doesn't work, see an ENT specialist. They can remove the wax safely.

I was suffering from viral fever in the last week. On 30th December 2024 i felt symptoms of Eustachian tube dysfunction (even have sinus issues) and yesterday for the first time i had a pain in the mastoid bone of my ear, it's swollen and red too and the pain in spread out in my half face (upper jaw teeth pain), neck pain and all... In the past i had issues related to TMJ where while chewing my jaw used to get locked and have suffered serious neck ache like the one I'm having right now in addition to the pain in throat (especially while swallowing).. do i have mastoiditis??
Female | 17
You seem to have a few very worrying symptoms, which are earache and swelling, that are a hint at an ear infection and, in some cases, mastoiditis. Your facial, neck, and throat discomfort may be connected as well. The matter of getting you checked out is to have all aspects of your position estimated. Your history of TMJ and headaches could be the other causes of the discomfort. There are treatments that could work, such as those that lessen the swelling and the pain, and they may produce the result you want. Finally, the accurate examination must be conducted by a physician.

It sounds like you may be experiencing a sensation of fullness in your ear due to earwax build-up. This can lead to discomfort but is usually manageable. Avoid using cotton swabs, as they may push the wax deeper. Instead, warm water or saline solution can help soften it. Over-the-counter ear drops can also assist. However, if the discomfort persists or worsens, please consult a ENT specialist for safe removal and evaluation.

Male | 36
Nasal allergies can bring along to you some symptoms like sneezing, a runny nose, and itchy eyes. They are mostly caused by things such as dust, pollen, or pet dander. To help you get rid of your allergies entirely, you can first try to avoid triggers as much as possible, keep your living space clean, and consider discussing allergy shots with an allergist to help your body build up a tolerance to the allergens over time.

This could be because of a swollen gland or infection. You should see an ENT specialist immediately so they can examine it; they might prescribe antibiotics for treatment or conduct more tests to determine the cause.

I have a sore throat and difficulty swallowing
Male | 24
The common cold, flu, or an infection could be responsible for these. Resting, drinking plenty of fluids such as warm teas or soups, and gargling with warm salt water are the best things to do. Eating soft foods and avoiding spicy or acidic foods can also help. If it's getting worse or not getting better after a few days, it's important to let your body rest and recover.

Suppose one has a sound playing inside their ear for two years, that might be tinnitus. Tinnitus is a condition where you hear ringing or buzzing or any other sound in your ear that is not caused by any external noise source. It could result from exposure to loud noise, and ear infections among other causes such as stress. A visit to an ENT specialist is necessary to find the cause and consequently receive appropriate treatment.

Female | 40
Ear infections can happen and go away. The medicine helps reduce pain and swelling. Use it properly, one ear at a time. See if it assists with discomfort. If concerns persist or pain stays, inform an ENT specialist immediately. Follow instructions carefully for the best results. Consistent treatment prevents worsening symptoms. Don't hesitate to update your physician if issues remain.
