Female | 46
You could have a common cold. Sore throat, headache, cough, and nasal drainage - these symptoms fit for a common cold. Dry nose too, is a common sign. Colds are viral. They usually resolve within a week or two on their own. To ease symptoms, get rest, stay hydrated, and try over-the-counter remedies for relief.

Since 2 weeks, I have persistently sound is coming in my ears what is the issue possible? Im 55 years old Since 10 days im taking augmentan antibiotic 625 mg twice a day After this issue arises or due to this sound is coming, there is also little pain arises in my right ear and right side of my jaw teeth Problem is the same, the sound is still coming with the pain
Male | 55
A buildup behind your eardrum might cause the noise. Your ear and jaw ache may relate to this otitis media (middle ear infection). Antibiotics aid, but seeing an ENT specialist for assessment and care is wise. They'll determine if fluid accumulates, resulting in the symptoms you describe.

I'm a 21 year old female experiencing serious pain around the ear-neck region and I'm to prepare for a test tomorrow but I can't even study due to the pains
Female | 21
It might be helpful to know that the pain you feel in the ear and neck might have been caused by an infection in the ear or neck muscles that are too tight. Additionally, pain gets even worse when a person is stressed sometimes. Try to take some time off your studies and relax, use a warm cloth or over-the-counter painkillers may relieve this pain. Ensure you get enough sleep too. If this continue, please consult an ENT specialist.

I am a 54 yr old female . I got tinnitus and earache last year. The earache remains, stinging, sharp deep pain every day. No infections seen or other symptoms. I only got a clicking jaw this week. Ear was cleaned of excess fluid and was neurotic last year. I had been given lots ear drops over mths as thought was infections but consultant told me no infections. I think it may me nerve pain. Pain relief don't help much. What can I do to relieve the stinging, burning feeling

The likely cause of this is nerve pain. Pills for other pains won't help this. You need to see a ENT specialist who deals with nerve pain. They will find the right treatment for you.

My ear problem si contact ent doctor
Male | 48
Issues related to the ear can be reflected in pain, uneasiness, or difficulty with the ear. Typical triggers consist in infections, allergies, or wax buildup. To ameliorate the condition, the first way to go is to take over-the-counter painkillers and apply hot compresses. Nevertheless, it's very important to go to get a specialist's view particularly if the symptoms don't improve, deteriorate, or in case there occurs fever or liquid drainage. An ears, nose, and throat specialist with a great deal of experience can properly diagnose you and recommend suitable treatments tailored to you. Keeping a healthy body should come first.

I am 30 years old, I am facing nose dryness in summer season and also lesion, blockage, soreness in the morning. What can be the cause and what can be done to fix it?
Male | 30
You might have allergic rhinitis. That's a fancy phrase for nose allergies. Your body reacts to stuff like pollen, pet hair, and dust mites. To ease symptoms, use a room humidifier for moisture. Drink lots of water too. Saline nose sprays can relieve dryness. If home remedies don't work, see an allergy doctor. They'll help find the cause and treatment for you.

I’m having Frequent nose bleeds. I’ve had them since a child. Even a slight touch inside the nose will cause a nose bleed or even if soemthing hits my nose gently it bleeds. The nose bleeds lasts for about 10/15 minutes per time and it’s a heavy nose bleed. I have my septum pierced and it only bleeds from the left nostril but even before I had the piercing it kept bleeding. I coughed the other day and it started bleeding and I even woke up and it started bleeding
Female | 22
Your nose issue is a nasal septum deviation. That means your nose's middle part is off-center. One nostril's blood vessels are more exposed, causing bleeding. The piercing might worsen it. To reduce nosebleeds, keep your nose moist with saline solution. Don't pick or rub your nose. Consider visiting an ENT expert for evaluation and treatment.

It is important to see a doctor right away for this lump near your ear, especially if you feel pain and your mouth is drooping. I'm 24 years old person I'm facing a throat issue I can't drink water, side of my throat I'm threatening more pain I can't eat too
Male | 24
Based on your description, it appears that you are experiencing a lot of pain, making it hard to swallow liquids and solid foods. The possible causes could be an infection, inflammation, or allergies. Keeping water intake might be difficult, so have warm broths or herbal teas instead of water. Pain relievers bought over the counter can alleviate the pain to some extent. Still, these are just temporary remedies. It is my firm belief that you should obtain accurate and professional help from healthcare practitioners to diagnose the source and give you the preferred therapeutic regimen. The most important thing for you is to be healthy, and therefore, a clinician, knowing your specific case, is in a position to offer the most suitable professional support and attention.

It appears that you have a prolonged sore throat which may be due to hidden factors such as allergies, post-nasal drip, or even acid reflux. Therefore, it is possible to feel discomfort if speaking for a long time. You can reduce the symptoms by keeping your fluid intake high and by using a humidifier in the case of dry environments. Patients should also use Throat lozenges. On the other hand, since this is a recurring issue over many years, I very strongly suggest speaking with a healthcare professional.

I am 26 years old female. My two ears have been blocked for over three weeks and there are no signs it would open. What should I do to get it open?
Female | 26
Earwax buildup often causes this. Hardened wax clogs the ear canal, making you feel full or hear less. Use over-the-counter ear drops to soften wax. Gently flush ears with warm water using a bulb syringe. If this doesn't work, see an ENT specialist for evaluation and treatment.

I have been using sudafed nasal spray for about 5 days for a nasal drip. I stopped yesterday and have been feeling extremely congested like my sinus is swollen. Could this be rebound congestion? I've been using sinus rinse and a little relief but just feels like there could be some swelling
Male | 40
You could be suffering from rebound congestion. This is common when people use nasal sprays such as Sudafed for more than a couple of days. It may cause you to have swollen nasal passages with a feeling of being more congested. The saline sinus rinse is excellent at relieving the swelling. It's best to avoid overusing the nasal spray to prevent rebound congestion.

I've been experiencing sinus problems, such as congestion, pressure, and possibly sinus infections. What could be the underlying cause, and what are my treatment options?
Female | 26
You could have sinus issues. When your sinuses are blocked or inflamed, you may end up with congestion, pressure, and even infections. The most common reasons are allergies, infections, or structural problems in your sinuses. Treatment methods can encompass nasal decongestants, saline rinses, steam inhalation, or antibiotics if there is an infection. Besides, you can also replenish the fluids in your body and use a humidifier for symptom relief. If your symptoms don't go away, you should see an ENT doctor for a proper diagnosis and a customized treatment plan.

I'm 25 years old male and I have been experiencing my voice lost for last 7 years I use to eat smoked cigarette filters a lot in my childhood and now my voice becomes hoarse and lost its freshness Kindly tell me what to do
Male | 25
Prolonged hoarseness can stem from several factors, including past smoking habits and irritation in the throat. To improve your situation, consider eliminating irritants like smoking, staying hydrated, and using humidifiers. Resting your voice and avoiding whispering can also help. However, because of the duration of your symptoms, I encourage you to consult an ENT specialist. They can provide a thorough examination and recommend appropriate treatments, which may include speech therapy or medication.

Why I have Partial hearing loss from my left ear and when I apply pressure by closing my nose , mouth, air come out from my ear
Male | 26
The Eustachian tube is a little passage. It links your middle ear to your nose's back area. This tube can get blocked, causing partial hearing loss in that ear. When you close your mouth and nose, air might come out of your ear if you apply pressure. To help open the Eustachian tube, try yawning or chewing gum. If this issue persists, it's wise to see an ENT doctor.

Tinnitus and continue headache
Male | 37
Tinnitus makes you hear noises when there isn't one nearby. A constant headache combined with buzzing sounds could signal stress or loud noise exposure. High blood pressure could also cause it. Relax, avoid loud noises, get plenty of rest. If it persists, see an ENT specialist to identify any other reasons.
