The presence of blood is particularly concerning and warrants immediate attention. It's essential to avoid irritants like spicy or acidic foods and stay hydrated with soothing fluids. However, the best course of action is to see a healthcare professional as soon as possible. They can conduct a thorough evaluation from a gastroenterologist who can provide the appropriate treatment to alleviate your symptoms and address any underlying issues.

I am 20 years old Whenever I defecate, I have a lot of pain in my anus and the pain lasts for 6-7 hours continuously. This has been happening to me for the last 1 month. I feel a wound inside the anus. Which cream should I apply to reduce the pain?
Male | 20
You may have a condition called an anal fissure. Anal fissures make small tears in the lining of the anus that can lead to pain and discomfort during bowel movements. For pain relief, you can use an OTC cream that has substances such as lidocaine or hydrocortisone over the area, and this will help to do it. Alongside using a medication, it is also important to make a couple of lifestyle changes such as the use of additional fiber in the diet and being hydrated which helps to ease stool and lessens straining during bowel movements. If the pain continues, see a gastroenterologist who will do a medical examination and prescribe the treatment.

Sir I have constipation and sound comes from my intestine and I have regular neck pain and gastric issue
Male | 34
Feeling stopped up where poop won't come out easily is called constipation. That gurgling noise is likely gas traveling in your intestines. Neck pain and stomach troubles sometimes happen due to stress or eating unhealthy foods. Drinking lots of water, eating fresh produce, and moving around can help you poop better. To ease neck pain, try relaxing. Cutting greasy, spicy foods may relieve stomach issues.

Why I have abdominal pain
Female | 14
Abdominal discomfort can occur due to various reasons. It may stem from consumed food items or gastrointestinal distress. If localized in the lower right area, appendicitis could be the culprit, requiring immediate medical attention. Alternatively, gas accumulation or constipation can also trigger such pain. Consuming smaller portions, staying hydrated, and engaging in physical movement may alleviate gas or constipation-related discomfort. However, if the pain persists or intensifies, visit a gastroenterologist.

been under investigation for upper left sided stomach and chest pain for about 2 years now. The pain usually comes during strenuous activity causing me to stop what I’m doing. I had a hiatus hernia which recently got repaired by surgery to stop the acid reflux but doctors did not think that this would stop the pain I was getting which it hasn’t! I’ve had CT scans which have supposedly been normal, an ultra sound which shown an enlarged spleen and an hematoma on the spleen. (Doctors don’t seem concerned by this) Bloods are also fairly normal as been told nothing stands out. Not sure what causes this pain as it’s interfering with every day life
Male | 25
You've been through a lot with this ongoing pain, especially after having surgery for a hiatus hernia. Since the CT scans and ultrasounds have shown an enlarged spleen and hematoma, it's important to follow up with a gastroenterologist or a hematologist. They can help you understand whether these findings could be related to your pain and guide you toward the right treatment.

Theres a swelling lump on my anus i dont know what is it sometimes its itchy
Male | 22
A swelling in that area could be due to various reasons. It could be an external hemorrhoid, which is a swollen vein around the anus, often causing itching. Sometimes, it could also be a small abscess or skin tag. It's essential to have it checked by a physician to confirm the exact cause. In the meantime, to ease the discomfort, you can try warm baths and keeping the area clean and dry. I recommend scheduling an appointment with a him for a proper examination and suitable treatment.

Hello Doctor, 2 calculi of size12.4mm and 7.3mm have been noted in gal bladder one in fundus and other in neck respectively in ultrasound. I am having issue of pain in abdomen and back and nausea and headache. After the results of ultrasound what will be further treatment required. And also want to know if still endoscopy is required after detection in ultrasound?
Female | 33
Based on the ultrasound results, it seems that you have gallstones in your gallbladder, which is causing abdominal and back pain, nausea, and headache. And endoscopy is not required to diagnose or treat gallstones. But in some cases, an endoscopic ultrasound is used to get a better view of the gallbladder and surrounding structures. I recommend consulting with a gastroenterologist or a surgeon for further evaluation and treatment options.

Female | 22
Your abdominal pain, frequent urination, fatigue, thirst, nausea, decreased appetite, and headache can indeed be linked to hormonal imbalances and PMS. These can also mimic early pregnancy symptoms. It's important to rule out pregnancy with a test. However, these symptoms can also occur due to other factors like stress, diet, or infections. I recommend keeping track of your symptoms and seeing a gynecologist for a proper evaluation. In the meantime, try to stay hydrated, rest well, and eat small, frequent meals.

i am getting bloating problem
Male | 32
Bloating can happen for a few reasons, like eating too quickly, swallowing air while eating, or even certain foods like beans or carbonated drinks. Well, sometimes it can also be due to more serious issues like food intolerances or digestive conditions. It might be helpful to keep a food diary to see if any specific foods trigger your bloating. In the meantime, try eating slowly, avoiding gas-producing foods, and staying hydrated. If it persists or gets worse, it's a good idea to chat with a gastroenterologist to rule out any underlying causes.

Female | 28
Piles, which are also known as hemorrhoids, are one of the common issues that happens due to straining with stools and sitting for long periods. If your symptoms don't improve when you are using Anovate, get yourself over-the-counter hemorrhoid creams which are indicated to contain hydrocortisone as one of the ingredients to help you with pain sensation and inflammation. Also, add more fiber to your diet to improve your stools by consuming less weight. Don't forget to drink lots of water and don't push too hard when you try to relieve constipation. If the signs and symptoms continue or get even worse, it is better to see a gastroenterologist.

Male | 32
You have been dealing with a lower left-sided bellyache near your stomach for a year now. If you've also noticed yellow, pasty stools, it could be a sign of an underlying issue. Even if your colonoscopy results were normal, it’s important to talk to your doctor about these new symptoms. The cause might be related to your pancreas or liver. Make sure to inform a gastroenterologist about all your symptoms so they can provide the proper evaluation and treatment.

Male | 33
You're having trouble passing stool, likely due to reasons like lack of fiber, insufficient water intake, or stress. To ease it, eat more vegetables and fruits, and drink plenty of water. However, if this persists, consult a doctor for proper medical assessment and guidance. While irregular bowel movements happen, prolonged issues shouldn't be ignored as they could signify underlying concerns that require professional evaluation from a gastroenterologist and treatment tailored to your specific condition.
