Hows long does the Cyp3a4 enzyme stay inhibited after taking your last 500mg pill of clarithromycin.

Male | 21

The Cyp3a4 enzyme may stay inhibited for up to three days after taking your last 500mg pill of clarithromycin. But this can vary based on individual factors such as age, weight, and overall health. If you have concerns about the effects of clarithromycin on your Cyp3a4 enzyme, I recommend to consult a gastroenterologist for further advice.

Sir myself Imtiaz Ali My problem is fever with flu ???? for 18 days Mujh saans Lene me problem hy Aur heart rate fast ho jata hy. Thakawat bht ziada Hoti hy. Koi medicine batain

Male | 33

It seems you are experiencing prolonged fever, flu symptoms, difficulty in breathing, and a fast heart rate, along with extreme fatigue. These could be signs of a serious underlying condition, so it's essential not to delay. Please visit a physician or an internal medicine specialist as soon as possible for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Self-medication can be harmful in such cases.

I tested positive for syphillis and begative for HIV. I’ve treated syphillis a week ago. i would want to know if I should retest for HIV or take PRePs for HIV.

Male | 27

When you have already been treated for syphilis then take a retest for HIV after six weeks. But PrEP alone is not enough. You still have to be safe while engaging in sexual intercourse.

Male | 3

I recommend that you, together with your son, go and see a pediatrician for the accurate diagnosis and best treatment. Symptoms of cough, common cold, and chest congestion may be due to a host of medical issues, and a specialist will be more proficient in finding the source of the problem and suggesting the best treatment option.

How long are you contagious after starting antibiotics

Male | 28

Taking the entire prescribed dosage of antibiotics by your doctor is as important as finishing the course. If you suspect symptoms of disease, more appropriate to visit the clinic of internal medicine or an ID specialist to deduce the exact cause and the treatment to be administered.

I have been having high fever for a few days and yesterday, I visited the doctor. From my blood test, he explained that I don't have a bacterial infection since my Neutrophils level is within the normal range. However, he did prescribe me the antibiotic amoxicillin and today I found out amoxicillin is used to treat bacterial infections. I have already had 4 out of the 21 doses prescribed. I am aware that I need to complete all doses for antibiotics. I want to get a second opinion on whether this antibiotic will really be beneficial for me as right now, I'm just experiencing a lot 9f nausea

Female | 28

You need to finish the whole course of antibiotics prescribed to you. Even if the levels of your Neutrophil are in normal averages, your doctor may have placed you on amoxicillin as a preventive measure. If you experience too much sickness or any other concern with your drug intake, it is better to see your doctor or infectious specialist.

I have a fever, I have taken a Dolo tablet sinceafter my dinner later suddenly my hands and feet started turning cold and later I started to experience a pin sensation in my head

Female | 45

You may have reacted to the Dolo tablet you took. Sometimes, some individuals can be afflicted by such side effects as feeling cold, numbness in their head, or tingling feelings. The symptoms you are experiencing may well be due to an allergic reaction. You should stop taking the medication immediately and consult a doctor for assistance. They will be able to diagnose what is causing the problem and give you the necessary treatment options.

My weight isn't increasing I'm just exhausted

Female | 20

You're exhausted and not gaining weight. Many factors could be causing this. An overactive thyroid can drain energy, or stress and undereating can sap stamina. Make sure to eat balanced meals and get enough sleep. If the problem persists, see a doctor for a checkup. A simple exam can pinpoint the root cause, and the solution could involve medication or lifestyle changes.

Female | 23

It is not advisable to take these medications all together 4 times a day. These medicines are used to treat H. pylori infection, but their dosage and administration should be based on the individual's medical history and other factors. Talk to your doctor and follow the guidelines they prescribe for the medications

HBsAg (ECLIA) Test regarding suggestions

Female | 38

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect the presence of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in the blood. This test is highly sensitive and specific and is the preferred method for the diagnosis of HBsAg infection. An electro-chemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA) can also be used to detect HBsAg in the blood. This test is less sensitive than ELISA, but it is more specific, meaning it is less likely to give a false positive result.
