Questions & Answers on "Neurology" (991)
I had epilepsy since 2004, reflecting on eyes appearing as red and blue light flashing and double vision further mild headheck and vomiting sensation. At that I am not losing consciousness. Last episode appeared in 2015 . I am using Zonisep tablet 125 MG per day till today. Requested for better medical suggestions in this regard.
Male | 20
I recommend taking the medication as prescribed to you by your doctor. But if you experience any side effects from it or want to go for some other treatment, you can talk to your neurologist. He will suggest some other treatments based on your condition like lifestyle changes, CBT or acupuncture etc. Also, follow-ups is must.

I'm 17 years old. I'm having sleep problems.i can't sleep properly in night, it's almost took me 2 hours to sleep even after closing my eyes. And in day time , my eyes started to burning
Female | 17
Seems like you might have insomnia, that is the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep. If you can’t fall asleep at night this can cause tired eyes that burn all day long. Stress, caffeine and use of screens before bedtime are some common reasons why teenagers suffer from this condition. Establishing a night time routine, avoiding caffeine and switching off the screens before going to bed may help improve your sleeping patterns.

Hi what causes fatigue , chest pain , pressure in my head , weakness in my left arm and leg , irregular heartbeat , I have bad dental and a lump at the base of my skull , low blood pressure
Female | 30
From what you describe, carotid artery disease could be causing your issues. This condition blocks blood vessels in your neck. It can lead to tiredness, chest discomfort, head pressure, and left arm/leg weakness. The irregular heartbeat, poor dental health, and skull base lump may relate. Reduced blood flow from the blockage could cause low blood pressure. To properly address this, seeking medical evaluation and treatment is vital.

I’ve been having a lot of uncomfortable symptoms. After I’ve been sitting for a while, when I stand my lower leg feels numb and tingling. I don’t have a way to check my temperature but I’ve been feeling really hot & cold. I’m worried.
Female | 22
Nerves can get compressed if you sit still for too long. Such a condition makes you feel a tingling sensation when you stand up. If you experience the feeling of extreme heat and cold, then your body is probably unable to maintain its temperature. Try to stretch and exercise a bit more while sitting. Besides, drink enough water daily. If these symptoms persist, consult a neurologist for a more in-depth assessment.

What comes to mind is that you might be suffering from a migraine. Such attacks can bring an onslaught of forceful pulse sensations and light or sound intolerance. The sensation you feel in your ear, along with the itch you experience, might be associated with the migraine. If the symptoms remain or the situation worsens, go to a neurologist.

Feeling dizzy or unsteady, particularly at night, can be quite scary. The condition of your blood sugar level and the up-down movement of blood pressure could be the primary reasons for such a state, especially after the latest heart procedure. Things like dehydration, tiredness, or drugs' secondary reactions can be the real issue. To not let those symptoms of discomfort wash away your good health, be sure to drink plenty of water, have a balanced diet, and keep an eye on your blood pressure levels regularly. It is important to bring up these feelings with your neurologist who can give you a personalized plan and make an appropriate change to your present treatment.
