My left leg is paining a lot. Not even able to walk. Upper thighs, calf and ankle.
Male | 49
If the leg pain is so severe that affects walking then get it checked by an orthopedist as it could indicate a serious medical condition. Possible causes can be muscle strain, deep vein thrombosis, or nerve problems.

I recently had an MRI done because I am having serious back pain. The results said.. right side disc bulge at L5-S1 level causing lateral recess and neuroforaminal narrowing as well as abutting the exiting right L5 nerve root. What does this mean?
Female | 46
Your back issue involves a bulging disc at a specific level. The bulge puts pressure on a nerve, potentially causing pain. Like a kinked hose restricting water flow, the pressure disrupts nerve function. Physical therapy, medication, or surgery could help. Working closely with your orthopedic doctor on a treatment plan is vital for symptom relief.

Hi, I'm 21 years old, female and since September 2021 i have muscle weakness. It only occurs when i'm moving. When i chew, or walk too fast or if i brush my hair, my muscles get tired very quickly. if i sit or lay down in a certain position, my upper body starts getting kind of muscle ache. My muscle weakness is on my hole body, started on my neck, on my legs, arms and my upper body. When i rest, it gets better. The first symptoms occurs 3 days after i had an intoxication with crabs eye plant seeds. I have talked to my physician about it, blood test, especially muscle enzymes were normal. He said nothing further about it. I'm pretty sure, the muscle weakness comes from the intoxication, but i'm not sure what should i do now.

Mere pair main bht dard rehta tha adhi chubti hai mian ne xray krwaya h mujhe smaj nh ari xray mn kya aya h
Female | 21
Dard aur adhi chubhti mehsoos karna aam hai, jo kayi wajah se ho sakta hai, jaise joint ya muscle strain, arthritis, ya nerves ka dabav. X-ray se sirf bones ki tasveer milti hai, lekin soft tissue ya nerve problems nahi dikhte. Aapka dard agar continue rahe, toh physical examination aur additional tests ki zaroorat ho sakti hai. Aapko ek orthopedist se consult karna chahiye taake wo aapki symptoms ko samjhen aur behtar treatment plan bana sakein.

I twisted my ankle a couple hours ago , when it happened it hurt a lot, but I managed to get up a few minutes later and walk home. I rested for a few hours, and when I tried to walk again, it hurt real bad. I can’t step on my foot or even move it when I try to. It hurts really bad but when I don’t move it or step on it, it doesn’t hurt at all. The pain is all around the ankle it feels like tension or something blocking my movement.
Male | 17
Probably you have sprained your ankle. Ligaments can get stretched or torn when you bend your ankle too far, and as a result, you may experience pain and swelling. Additionally, it may cause you to have difficulty properly moving your ankle. Rest your ankle, apply ice, elevate it, use compression, and take medication to help with the pain and swelling. Avoid putting weight on it and allow it to heal. If pain persists or worsens, see an orthopedist for further evaluation.

Hey doctor I have had this indent in my wrist from a while now and I also have pain in my wrist when I wake up in the morning and also when I bend my wrist and also when I press the dent could you please help me with this is this a serious issue, should I get it checked properly?
Male | 17
You might be experiencing a condition called carpal tunnel syndrome, which could be causing the dent in your hand and the pain you're feeling. Carpal tunnel syndrome happens when a nerve in your wrist gets compressed. It's important to have this checked by an orthopedist to confirm if carpal tunnel syndrome is the cause. They might recommend treatments like wrist splints, exercises, or, in some cases, surgery to help relieve your symptoms.

Hey! Little backstory of me. I had diagnosed DVT 4 months ago. So I am still using anticoagulants. DVT cause was covid and it started on left calf. Now, few days ago I woke up and suddenly felt pain in my left foot. To be precise, on the ball of foot. No swelling or color changes. And no jumping or running or long days on foot. Just a pain. I can’t stand and put pressure on this foot. But, if I try to walk a little, the pain gets milder. It won’t completely go away, but I can manage it. First question is, can I get blood clot on bottom of my foot? Secondly, I tried to research and got no real answers, so maybe you could take a guess. Age 29, weight 80kg.
Male | 29
Yes, getting a blood clot in the small vessels of your foot is something that can happen, but it is rare. The pain that you have may be nerve problems or strain. Be observant of it and if it does not go away or worsens, do not hesitate to contact an orthopedist for a check-up to be on the safe side.

Now almost 2week are done without wearing supporter. Earlier I was wearing the supporter for one month .now also I am having pain in fracture area and there is no swelling left but while bending the fractured joint area in my small finger the pain is happening.i can't lift heavy things with my finger .
Male | 15
Make sure to allow your finger to rest and recover the way it is supposed to. For starters, you don't want to pressure it too much and keep on being delicate with it. If the pain continues, consult an orthopedist for further evaluation and treatment.

I am having very sharp and constant pain shooting from my outer elbow down to my pinkie and my thumb/ index finger. It's causing tingling and numbness to those fingers. I've tried putting ice packs on it but it makes the pain worse. And a little of the ulna looks to be protruding a little bit more then my other elbow. I have it at rest at the moment and the pain is constant
Female | 44
Ulnar nerve passes through a tunnel at the elbow - the cubital tunnel. When compressed, it can lead to symptoms like pain, tingling, and numbness in the ring and little fingers. The protrusion in your ulna bone might be worsening the compression. To manage this, try keeping your elbow in a relaxed position. Avoid resting it on hard surfaces or bending it excessively. See an orthopedist for proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

I have been having pain below my left knee cap where the patella tendon is and I am thinking I have jumper knee. I work on Concrete floor all day. I have been having thing pain for a week now.
Male | 21
You may be dealing with patellar tendonitis - or “jumper’s knee”. This is typically caused by the tendon below your kneecap becoming inflamed due to activities such as standing all day on hard surfaces. Common signs include pain beneath the kneecap that worsens when moving. The upside is that taking some time off, using ice packs, and doing some light stretching exercises can help relieve discomfort. If the pain persists, visit an orthopedist.

Female | 52
After a surgical procedure, back discomfort may occur for multiple reasons such as muscle tension or static posture. These pains are often time-limited and can be eased through gentle exercises, stretches, and the correct sleep position. The application of heat or cold may provide relief as well. Nevertheless, if the pain persists or worsens, it is important to seek orthopedist's advice to make sure that everything is alright with you.

how much the price of Spine surgery
Male | 62
Spinal surgery costs depend principally on the kind of procedure, place, and patient health status. However, the most common reasons including chronic pain, herniated discs, or spinal deformities are the disorders that people go for surgeries. These include treatments that focus on the primary issue, which may also involve a hospital stay. You should get a comprehensive check-up with an orthopedist first so you will know what to do.

Mild Pain at the left thigh what's the best remedy
Male | 37
Muscle strain or overuse might cause this. Long periods of sitting or standing could also be the reason. Rest your leg, use a warm compress, gently massage the area - these may help ease discomfort. If pain persists or worsens, avoid activities aggravating it, give your leg rest. Stay hydrated, do gentle stretches. But if pain lingers after a few days, consult an orthopedist for proper treatment.

1st Metatarsal bone fracture
Male | 26
A first metatarsal fracture may manifest itself in the form of pain and swelling, as well as walking difficulties. This kind of damage more often than not stems from physical traumas or overuse, especially in athletes. Normally, treatment is achieved using rest, ice, compression, and elevation to reduce swelling. An orthopedist might prescribe supportive shoes or a walking cast to keep the foot stable while healing. It’s very important not to do anything that could make things worse.

Hey I’m getting a weird feeling in my right foot it comes a goes but it feels like a pulse movement it feels weird I’m not sure what it is
Female | 24
You might be feeling a throbbing sensation in your right foot. The constriction of blood vessels or the poor circulation of that area can be the cause. In rare instances, stress, anxiety, or the overconsumption of caffeine, may lead to the same feeling. Walk around and try to keep your foot upright for a while. Talking to an orthopedist is advisable if the feeling persists or gets worse.
