Hello, I'm 48 yrs old male, diagnosed with AML in August 2020, underwent intense chemo. Achieved remission after cycle1. After 4 cycles of chemo in april 2021, I was advised to take preventive chemo thats milder (Azacitidine for 12 cycles). This chemo started in May 2021 until Nov 2022. Now I have achieved complete remission & stopped all treatment. what are my chances here, is there a likelihood of relapse, if yes should I take any preventive steps like ayurveda etc. I dont have prior history of smoking or drinking, have maintained healthy diet all along

Male | 48

Remission from treatment is wonderful news. Your relapse chances vary but maintaining a healthy lifestyle remains vital. AML relapse risk exists, as it's a complex cancer. Ayurvedic therapies support wellbeing, but regular medical follow-ups catch relapses early. Keep doing what you're doing, and stay connected with your care team.

Male | 27

You're having issues with slow urination and erectile dysfunction. The shadow in your pelvis might mean a blockage that slows your urine flow. An operation could fix the blockage problem. Your ED may relate to your mentioned habit. Addressing these things is vital for getting your energy and intimacy right again. You'll need surgery for the blockage. For ED, changing lifestyle and getting help can offer solutions.

Male | 19

Ashwagandha powder, which is one of the herbs, is a type that helps people feel less stressed and more energized and use it interchangeably. The powder is something you can mix with water or food and then you can eat it. The side effects that may occur are stomach upset, diarrhea, and the feeling of being drowsy. Therefore, if you observe such symptoms, then switch to a smaller amount of ashwagandha powder or discontinue the usage and see if the symptoms vanish.

My sister have Thyroid and taking ayurvedic medicine since 6 month feel good and weight also loss but now since two days my sister get swollen face and body and cold

Female | 20

Swelling in the face and body, combined with feeling cold, may be more alarming, especially for those who are managing their thyroid issues. These signs can be due to water accumulation or hormonal fluctuations. It is extremely crucial to keep an eye on these changes closely. I advise you to make sure that you are drinking enough water and get a good and nutritious diet. Notwithstanding the emergence of the signs recently, it is better for your sister to visit the healthcare expert. The doctor will carry out a physical examination to assess the status of her treatment and decide whether or not to make suitable changes. The guidance of professionals will contribute to her safety and help her deal with any potential issues in the best possible way.

Balancing hormones, such as estrogen and progesterone, is essential for women's health, especially concerning conditions like PCOS. Symptoms may include irregular periods, weight gain, acne, and mood swings. The herbs you mentioned are believed to support hormonal balance, but their effectiveness can vary individually. Lifestyle changes, such as a balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management, also play a significant role. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any herbal supplements to ensure they align with your health needs and to receive personalized advice.
