Questions & Answers on "Panchakarma" (45)

Hello, I'm 48 yrs old male, diagnosed with AML in August 2020, underwent intense chemo. Achieved remission after cycle1. After 4 cycles of chemo in april 2021, I was advised to take preventive chemo thats milder (Azacitidine for 12 cycles). This chemo started in May 2021 until Nov 2022. Now I have achieved complete remission & stopped all treatment. what are my chances here, is there a likelihood of relapse, if yes should I take any preventive steps like ayurveda etc. I dont have prior history of smoking or drinking, have maintained healthy diet all along

Male | 48

Remission from treatment is wonderful news. Your relapse chances vary but maintaining a healthy lifestyle remains vital. AML relapse risk exists, as it's a complex cancer. Ayurvedic therapies support wellbeing, but regular medical follow-ups catch relapses early. Keep doing what you're doing, and stay connected with your care team.

How to use ashwagandha pawder And Side effects of ashwagandha pawder

Male | 19

Ashwagandha powder, which is one of the herbs, is a type that helps people feel less stressed and more energized and use it interchangeably. The powder is something you can mix with water or food and then you can eat it. The side effects that may occur are stomach upset, diarrhea, and the feeling of being drowsy. Therefore, if you observe such symptoms, then switch to a smaller amount of ashwagandha powder or discontinue the usage and see if the symptoms vanish.

I have stress and anxiety I want to take natural medicines ,.I started Ashvagandha along with d3 ..please tell me how much dose nd when to take of both

Female | 30

It's great that you're looking into natural ways to help with stress and anxiety. The two that might have some effect are Ashwagandha and vitamin D3. A common dose of Ashwagandha is 300-500mg twice a day. Although the ideal dose of Vitamin D3 can differ, it is frequently recommended to take a dose of 1000-2000 IU every day. A good time to do them could be in the morning. Keep in mind, it is necessary to allow the supplements to function and to talk to your doctor first about any new supplement.
