My father ( age 80) is having varicose veins and later due to some jit to foot he got partial foot drop and toes are dragged. He is walking in that foot kid of limping way. At ine of toe finger hard blister formed which pains s bit when touched ground.Took Auyrvedic treatment which gave some relief but walking ability need to improve.

Not sure what your problem is exactly, but if there was sudden foot drop then should rule out stroke and ischemia also. can use custom made footwear for the foot to avoid injury to the dragging toes.

consult a good Vascular surgeon for the varicose veins and Plastic surgeon for the foot drop issue. remember we are treating only the symptoms here but the root cause needs forther evaluation.

We consulted doctors but they said his one leg will have little swelling forever and treated the other leg by giving injections to clear blockage in veins. But still it is ineffective. The swelling can be due to many reasons in the leg, if vein clotting is the problem then use of compression stockings and walking exercise will help to reduce the swelling. if there are other reasons then it needs to be check and appropriate treatment can be given.
