4. Supply Chain Resilience and Financial Stability
A supplier might make products but that supplier can still be a risky partner if the suppliers own supply chain is weak.
The problems we saw during the pandemic made this very clear. Manufacturers that relied much on just one supplier for a key part could suddenly stop production entirely.

You don't need to treat financial information as a guarantee. It's simply another piece of evidence that helps you judge how dependable a supplier is likely to be over the long term.
5. ESG and Ethical Compliance
The risks associated with a supplier do not end with the product
Environmental, social and governance matters are growing in importance when buying devices. Buyers should know if a manufacturer follows the labor rules meets environmental laws and keeps ethical business habits.
