I have a brown tooth. My composite bonding fell off and it’s gone brown. Will i need the tooth removed or a root canal or can they just read the composite - i’m absolutely terrified.
Answered on 10th Dec '24
From strengthening, discoloration, or error with the former sticking brownish color may result. Depending on what is the matter, the choice is yours: to restore the previous material or if necessary to perform a root canal. It's important to get a dentist’s opinion, and the diagnosis has to be right on the mark; if a treatment needs to be done, it also has to be correctly chosen. They will check the ailment and suggest the best course of action for you, guaranteeing your endurance and fitness.

I just have something in in side off my lips
Answered on 7th Dec '24
You may have something like an upset or a swollen tissue in the lining of your lips. It might be due to different reasons like an allergic reaction, minor trauma, or a virus infection. Typical symptoms include soreness, redness, or pressure. To reduce the pain, put a cold bandage on it and stay away from spicy foods. Sufficient hydration can also be helpful. If the issue continues or worsens, it is better to visit the doctor.

My teeth are yellow and hole in the front teeth its not cavity
Answered on 21st Oct '24
You are likely suffering from a condition called enamel erosion. Enamel is the tough outer layer of your teeth that can wear away because of acidic foods, drinks, or brushing too hard. One symptom is yellowing and the holes forming in your teeth. To control further degradation, you can use a soft-bristled brush and reduce the consumption of sugary and acidic foods. You can speak to a dentist for further guidance.

The chances are you have a cavity. A cavity is when the germs in our mouth are eating sugars and making holes in the teeth. Infection can be the reason for the swollen gums that are next to the tooth. For this: brush your teeth properly, avoid sugary snacks, and visit a dentist for treatment.

Dear Doctor, While chewing food I accidentally bite my inner cheek and it has turned like a sore with extreme pain, unable to chew freely now due to extreme pain and uneasiness. Kindly advise some good medicines for it to heal up fast. Thanks
Answered on 8th Oct '24
You're dealing with a small issue in your mouth called a "cheek bite ulcer." This happens when you accidentally bite the inside of your cheek while chewing. The sore can be painful and may make chewing difficult. To ease the discomfort, you can use over-the-counter pain relief gels or creams made for mouth sores, which help numb the pain and protect the sore while it heals. It's also a good idea to avoid spicy or acidic foods that can irritate the sore further. Drinking cool liquids and eating soft foods will give your cheek a break, helping it heal faster. These sores usually go away on their own within a week or two, but if the pain worsens or doesn't improve, it's a good idea to consult a dentist.

There is an extra tooth(?) next to the upper left molar at the very back, its position is coming out (left)(I don't know whether it is separate from the molar or is part of the molar, but basically the shape is different). I can say that it is not normal because the right side does not have this- Additionally, the shape of the teeth does not conform to standard anatomy because of the growths I mentioned. As for how it bothers me, it makes using correct posture difficult, and also hinders the growth of my palate, it feels stuck. This additional teeth also push the molars inward. I am 16 and have had yhis for years, not sure since when
Answered on 8th Oct '24
It’s unlikely, but you may have inherited a condition called "supernumerary teeth," meaning extra teeth. This can be due to genetics and may affect your bite or tooth alignment. An X-ray is the first step, and if necessary, a dentist might remove the extra tooth to prevent misalignment or other issues.

can braces fix uneven teeths?
Answered on 29th Aug '24
The uneven teeth may also make some of them look out of the general row or even be completely crooked. The causes for this can be many, some of which are genetics and habits such as thumb sucking. One of them, Braces, is normally used to correct the misalignment of teeth when pressure is applied over time to the teeth to get them in the correct position. Besides making you look straighter, braces can also help with chewing and speaking.

Answered on 25th Sept '24
You are suffering from inflammation of your jaw. This happened because of the gutkha you were consuming a while back. The gutka may have irritated the area, resulting in pain and discomfort. However, it is great that you have stopped using it now. You can use a cold pack on the affected area and avoid hard or chewy foods. However, if the pain persists, see a dentist for further evaluation and treatment.

I have a question about my teeth. I found a small, stone or teeth like structure on the left side of my teeth at the end without any pain, redness, or swelling. There's also a black line on one tooth that doesn't appear to be a cavity and doesn't hurt or is sensitive. Can you help me understand these issues, I have attached the pictures.
Answered on 23rd May '24
The stone-like thing in the pictures you sent looks like a small tooth deposit. The black line could be stained or cracked. Tooth deposits can form from leftover plaque. Stains might come from food or drink. It is good you have no pain, red, or swell - that is a nice sign. To fix this, make sure to brush and floss a lot. Also, see your dentist for a check and clean. They can take care of these things for you.

Teeth pain very fast what can I do please advise me
Answered on 28th Aug '24
Tooth pain can strike quickly. It could mean cavities, diseased gums, or a cracked tooth. Did you grind your teeth at night? That also causes discomfort. Rinse with warm salt water. Stay away from hot or cold foods. Brush and floss carefully. If pain lingers, see a dentist right away. They'll check it out and treat the problem.

Why there is a bad odor from my mouth
Answered on 21st Aug '24
Halitosis, the unpleasant odor from your mouth, can stem from various causes. Poor dental hygiene habits, allowing bacterial growth and plaque accumulation, often lead to this condition. Oral issues like gum disease or dry mouth contribute too. Smoking cigarettes, consuming odorous foods like garlic, can also result in foul breath. To combat bad breath, practice thorough brushing, flossing daily, using antimicrobial mouthwash regularly. Stay hydrated by drinking ample water. Seek professional dental cleanings periodically for optimal oral health.

What is cost of RCT for milk teeth? Child age 9 years Call me 9763315046 Pune
Answered on 23rd May '24
Performing a root canal on milk teeth, or primary teeth is rather uncommon but may considered in some cases. In the case of a primary tooth with severe decay or infection, it may be necessary for a pediatric dentist to perform an operation called pulpectomy – this is another name for root canal. This means removing the infected pulp and filling space to uphold the tooth until it sheds naturally. Always contact a pediatric dentist to ascertain what is best for your child’s dental health.
