Excessive hair loss, hormonal tests advice needed , no other problem in body
Female | 36
Excessive hair loss can often be linked to hormonal imbalances, even if there are no other noticeable problems in the body. It's important to get your thyroid levels, estrogen, and androgen hormones checked. I advise you to consult an endocrinologist, to diagnose and treat hormonal issues that might be causing your hair loss.

ear lump from piercing in helix bleeding and swelling and irritation
Female | 15
There’s a lump in your ear above where the earrings go. If it’s swollen, red, or bleeds, it might be an infected piercing. Infections happen when bacteria enter through broken skin. To help it heal faster clean it with saline solution, don’t touch it with unclean hands, and use warm compresses several times a day. If this doesn’t work you should see a dermatologist.

i have vein type structure on my penis glans from 3 months. what's that?
Male | 22
If you notice some vein-like structures on your penis glans, those are likely just normal blood vessels that have become more visible. You may notice this more during arousal. Usually, it’s not anything to worry about and doesn’t need treatment. However, if they are causing you pain or discomfort, or if they have appeared suddenly, it would be best for you to see a doctor so they can be evaluated further.

Good Evening Sir, This is Colonel Siraj ,Professor and HoD,Dermatology ,Combined Military Hospital,Dhaka Bangladesh. May I request a suggestion from you regarding a very important and sensitive patient . Age: 22 yrs ,Male. Having Post Acne Erythema of both cheeks for last 1 yr. Treated with Oral Isotretinoin, topical clindamycin, niacinamide ,Tacrolimus, and PDL. Did not observe significant improvement. (Excluded Connective Tissue Disease) Regards-
Male | 22
Post acne erythema and macular erythematous scars are common in few individuals as the acne subside. Sometimes underlying Rosacea component may also contribute to redness. Oral isotretinoin itself can cause mild erythema as long as the drug is taken if sunscreen is not used appropriately. Quasi long pulse mode of QS yag laser, topical drugs like topical Ivermectin, metronidazole for underlying rosaceaetc are prescribed by the Dermatologists. Please consult a Dermatologist for the same.

It's actually not uncommon, and what you're describing might be something called "Fordyce spots." They're basically enlarged oil glands that can have hair follicles. It's always a good idea to get things checked out just to be sure. I recommend seeing a sexologist who can give you a proper diagnosis and provide any necessary treatment. In the meantime, try not to stress too much about it.

Acne comes when tiny holes in the skin get blocked. It is normal for your age. A face wash with salicylic acid can help. Spot gels with benzoyl peroxide may make spots go away. If they do not, go to a dermatologist.

Can D rise 40,000 iu lead hair fall?? (Once per week)
Female | 20
An overdose of a large dosage of vitamin D, such as 40,000 IU weekly, can sometimes result in side effects, but hair loss is not a frequent one. Overdose symptoms of vitamin D include stomach upset, weakness, and frequent urination. Hair fall can be a potential result of a range of difficulties, such as stress, hormones, or nutrition restrictions. It is very important to share with the dermatologist any anxieties who can know your unique situation and help you find the right change or treatment. Moreover, keeping a proper diet and finding ways to cope with stress will also greatly help.

Good day sir , my wife is feeling pain since one week now where they injected her , the spot is hot and little strong, and it's paining her serious ,I have use ice block and close up , but the spot is still hot and little stronger
Female | 20
Your wife is likely to have an infection at the injection site. The symptoms such as heat, pain, and redness are caused when the bacteria get in. The area needs to be cleaned gently and the healthcare provider must be consulted. Antibiotics may be recommended to eliminate the infection. Do not use ice or cover it up without advice as it may aggravate the problem.

I’m having underarm problems, they’re dark and I want laser treatment for it.
Female | 21
Laser treatment for dark underarms typically involves the use of laser technology to target and break down excess pigmentation in the skin. The process is known as laser skin lightening or laser skin rejuvenation. During the procedure, the laser emits light that is absorbed by the melanin in the skin, helping to reduce pigmentation and promote a more even skin tone. Multiple sessions may be required for optimal results. It's crucial to consult with a dermatologist or a qualified skincare professional to assess your specific needs, skin type, and eligibility for the treatment.

thanks pr 5 day mai recover ho gya but scar jayega ya nhi halka sa scar dikh rha
Female | 22
A light scar may form after skin healing due to the natural process of tissue repair. This occurs when the skin creates new cells to close up any wounds. To support healing and minimize scarring, keep the area moisturized and protected from sun exposure. Using silicone gel sheets or vitamin E may also be beneficial. If you're concerned about the scar's visibility, I recommend discussing this with a dermatologist for personalized advice.

My father is having a problem like he is having a allergy on complete body when ever he is using any type of hair color he has consulted to many doctors dermatologists but he is not able to find any solutions and all the doctors has recommended him to excuse hair color for life time and strictly told him not to use any type of hair color but he dont want white hair. He want to use any hair color which is chemical free or he is trying to find any solution or any replacement of hair color which can help him to make his hair look black and dont get allergic. Please give me any type of solution from which he can be able to make his hair look black once again without getting any type of allergy.
Male | 55
It seems your father has a severe allergic reaction to hair color. Dermatologists have advised him to avoid all hair colors to prevent further reactions. He should look for natural alternatives like henna or indigo powder, which are less likely to cause allergies. However, it's important to consult with a dermatologist or an allergist before trying any new product to ensure it's safe for him.

I am 15 years old and I am really worrying about a spot I have near my penis and would really like to know what it is and if it will be ok
Male | 15
This spot could easily be a pimple or a skin irritation of a non-serious type. These spots may appear due to sweating, friction or blocked pores. Refrain from picking the spot to avoid getting an infection. If it continues or gets worse, do consult a dermatologist.

My sister has a severe allergy to benzoyl peroxide. Her face and neck were swelling in the area of contact last night.
Female | 37
An allergic response occurs when your body sees a substance as harmful. It swells to shield itself. Her swelling shows benzoyl peroxide triggered an allergic reaction. Dodging benzoyl peroxide products and consulting a dermatologist about alternative treatments that won't cause an allergy is wise.

I have dark spots that came after pimple and some areas with hyper pigmentation. I want a solution for this.
Female | 22
It's actually quite common for the skin to develop darker areas after inflammation like acne. This happens because of an increase in melanin production in response to the healing process. To address this, it's important to protect your skin from the sun as UV rays can worsen pigmentation. Using gentle exfoliants and brightening creams containing ingredients like vitamin C or kojic acid can also help fade those spots over time. If these home remedies don't show improvement, don't hesitate to see a dermatologist for personalized treatment options.

I am 20 years old..I have been suffering from severe hair fall for last 1 years..can taking d rise 40000iu per week leads hair fall?? One year ago,I had headache..for that doctor prescribed me this medicine.but after 2 month taking this medicine my hairfall started..is it possible or another problem??
Female | 20 years
It is certainly natural to worry about losing your hair at this point in your life. Hair fallout may be a side effect of some medications, although D Rise (vitamin D) does not generally give rise to this problem when given as recommended. Hair loss has several reasons, including stress, inadequacies in your diet, or imbalances in your hormones. Try to maintain a diet in perfect harmony available with crucial nutrients. It is crucial to see a dermatologist for a diagnosis of the cause and what treatments are available specifically for you.
