I am a 28 year old male. I was using my phone and my phone fell off under my eyes....and blood came out.....there is only little wound....blood came....and there is pain in one side of the face.....phone edge got contact with the under eye....what to do for this situation??? Can you recommend anything for not having any scar.....is this issue critical? Can you please tell me???
Male | 28
Blood and pain are the normal things you experience when your skin gets damaged. The area under your eye can be cleared by softly rinsing it with water and then taping a piece of Band-Aid on it. You can gently put a thin layer of antibiotic ointment around the scar with the hope that it will not scar. Identify the issue and if it doesn't heal or you see any signs of infection like swelling, heat, or pus, it is good to see an eye specialist.

I have amblyopia, one of my eyes are lazy, I want to know if it can be treated by patching ?
Female | 21
Lazy eye, also called amblyopia, makes one eye see poorly compared to the other. It leads to blurry eyesight, doubled vision, and trouble perceiving depth. Children frequently experience this condition. One treatment involves patching the stronger eye, forcing the weaker one to work harder. This may enhance vision in the lazy eye. If symptoms occur, seeking an eye doctor's advice becomes crucial for suitable treatment.

My right eye is red at same side my head is paining
Female | 29
Redness in your right eye along with a headache on the same side could be due to a few different reasons. One possibility is that you may have a condition called conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye, which can cause redness in the eye. The headache on the same side could be a tension headache or even a migraine. Sometimes, eye strain or sinus issues can also lead to these symptoms. It's essential to rest your eyes, apply a warm compress, and consider taking some over-the-counter pain relief for your headache. However, if the symptoms persist or worsen, it's best to see a eye specialist for a proper evaluation and treatment.

My maid is having cataract her doctor told her that it is on the verge of rupture..she is unable to pay for the operation. Is it possible to get her operated without much charges?
Female | 40
The reason behind may have been the presence of clouded vision, night time blackout, and light sensitivity. In a person's life, cataracts appear when the eye gets a cloudy lens due to age or specific health issues. To have the problem rectified, the maid should be fully followed up with a health care provider, it would serve as an interference to have avoidable ruptures or another form of complication. Significant discounts or financial aid programs are also available for those in need of medical services in many clinics or hospitals. It is a good idea for her to reach out to the local health facilities and the help of charity groups.

Male | 20
The burning of your eye can be associated with dryness, allergic reactions, or irritants around you such as dust or smoke. To treat your burning eye, you can also opt for artificial tears or a non-prescription eye drops the label of which has been made for dry eyes. No matter how bad the situation is, never touch your eyes. If the burning continues to be present or gets worse, you must contact an ophthalmologist to get advice.

Female | 37
Redness in your right eye, along with a headache, can result from various factors such as eye strain, allergies, or mild infections. Your blood pressure reading of 80/132 indicates slightly elevated diastolic pressure, which is generally considered acceptable, though this can vary depending on individual health. It’s essential to rest your eyes, stay hydrated, and apply a cool compress if needed. For persistent symptoms or discomfort, please consult a healthcare professional for a personalized evaluation. They can provide more detailed insights and treatment options tailored to your situation.

Doctor, I am 18 year old male, having problem in eye of change in it's power to -0.25D. I wear glasses too.I am also eye exercises and routines which can bring my eye power to normal.I am asking how much time should mobile screen to be limited per day to keep my eye safe on the above report?
Male | 18
Your eyesight has changed a bit with a measurement of -0.25D. This might make your vision less clear and give you sore eyes or a headache. If you spend lots of time looking at screens (like phones), these symptoms could get worse than they already are. To protect your sight, attempt to keep screen use down to 2 hours everyday maximum and take breaks every 20 minutes or so where you focus on something in the distance. You should still wear your glasses as directed by the optician as well.

You are experiencing an ailment called eye strain. Nowadays, it is common for people to experience problems with their eyesight. When your eyes are overworked they might be showing kaleidoscope colors or red. This is possible when the eyes are staring at light bulbs for too long. To help, rest your eyes by looking away from screens and lights. Eye drops or glasses may also be useful.

Femelle | 57
My suggestion is that you get an appointment with an ophthalmologist to have a look at the condition of your left eye. Complications do occur in a cataract surgery, though this procedure is very popular. The retina and choroid can detach from each other, and then cause permanent vision loss.

It sounds like you have a refractive error, which means your eyes may not focus light correctly. The numbers you mentioned indicate mild nearsightedness and farsightedness, respectively. Wearing glasses can help correct your vision, allowing you to see clearly at various distances. It's essential to wear them consistently for the best results. If you experience any discomfort or changes in your vision, I encourage you to consult with an eye care professional.
