Common Applications
- Sleeve Gastrectomy: It is the most performed surgery method by removing approximately 75-80% of the entire stomach.
- Gastric Sleeve: Is a surgery in which the patient's 70% to 80% of the stomach is removed so as to reduce or inhibit the food intake of the person.
- Gastric Bypass: is a surgery in which a substantial portion of the stomach is bypassed, leaving only a small portion of the stomach directly after the oesophagus.
- Gastric Banding Surgery: This is applied by a band placed around the stomach, approximately 3-4 cm below the esophagus and the stomach junction.
