T11 hairline fracture symptoms
Male | 37
A hairline crack in the T11 might cause pain in the region of the spine around the heart also there may be some difficulty in moving. Thus, these are injuries that are usually caused by trauma or repetitive load. It is very important to look for the presence of increasing pain or numbness, which are the signals of a more serious problem. Relaxation alongside over-the-counter painkillers might bring about some relief to the symptoms. Nonetheless, consult an orthopedist for proper treatment.

needle like pain in the arm
Female | 38
This type of pain could be due to various reasons like a pinched nerve, muscle strain, or even issues with blood vessels. Sometimes, repetitive movements or poor posture can also cause this sensation. I recommend giving your arm some rest, applying a warm compress, and gently stretching the area. If the pain persists or worsens, it's best to schedule an appointment with orthopedist so that he can take a closer look and ensure it's nothing serious.

I am 82 year old female who was hit in the right shoulder by a waitres in the dining room where I live. The shoulder is dislocated and the current doctor I saw said the ball is small so it will keep coming out so he did nothing except order some physical therapy to help strengthen muscles in the area. My arm is losing strength and I I am having trouble even getting dressed using that arm. Who can I see to get a second opinion as to what to do to solve this problem.
Female | 82
Your dislocated shoulder seems challenging, and arm struggles are tough. Since your current doctor didn't help enough, seek an orthopedic specialist's expertise. They specialize in assessing shoulder issues and recommending treatments. The right treatment can improve strength and relieve pain.

I have a ganglion cyst on my wrist I'm suppose to have surgery on in the morning, the cyst disappeared 3 days ago. Should I still have the surgery or will they do the surgery still
Male | 37
Your ganglion cysts aren't often painful, though sometimes annoying or movement-limiting. Since yours vanished naturally, surgery might not be required anymore. However, inform your doctor about this development so they can reassess if the operation is still necessary or not.

Cervical injury, many doctors check but not relief
Male | 25
The cervical injury normally comes with pain in the neck region. The reasons behind this can be accidents, incorrect posture, or too much hard work. For relief, first, rest your neck, use ice packs, and take pain medication if your doctor prescribes it. However, ensuring you get a professional opinion is important if the pain does not go away.

I am having very sharp and constant pain shooting from my outer elbow down to my pinkie and my thumb/ index finger. It's causing tingling and numbness to those fingers. I've tried putting ice packs on it but it makes the pain worse. And a little of the ulna looks to be protruding a little bit more then my other elbow. I have it at rest at the moment and the pain is constant
Female | 44
Ulnar nerve passes through a tunnel at the elbow - the cubital tunnel. When compressed, it can lead to symptoms like pain, tingling, and numbness in the ring and little fingers. The protrusion in your ulna bone might be worsening the compression. To manage this, try keeping your elbow in a relaxed position. Avoid resting it on hard surfaces or bending it excessively. See an orthopedist for proper diagnosis and treatment recommendations.

I am 24 years old and male. I hurt my knee in football and now I feel pain on one side.
Male | 24
You may have injured your knee during a football match. Achilles tendinitis or patellar tendinitis are the two most frequent causes of pain in the knee after an injury. Further, you may also have swelling or a problem moving the knee. To alleviate your knee problem, rest your knee, then put some ice on it to let it heal and elevate your leg. If you are still experiencing pain, it is relevant to take a rest from your daily activities and consult an orthopedist or therapist.

I have a ingrowing nail. Just an hour ago i feel my feet like weird and my leg feels lime a tendon has been pulled
Female | 44
It looks like you may have an ingrown toenail. When a toenail grows into the skin instead of over it, it can cause pain, redness, and swelling. Sometimes, it can make your whole foot feel funny or like a tendon is pulled. To help with this, soak your foot in warm soapy water and gently raise the nail. If it’s really sore, see a podiatrist for help.

The usual thing that you should do when you get a cut or hurt is cleanse the same with soap and water. To protect from infection, you should put some antiseptic on the wound. Employ a bandage as a cover to keep it safe from germs. If it is a larger wound or the bleeding will not stop, you will probably need to consult an orthopedic specialist. To facilitate the quick healing process, hygiene has to be the top priority of the affected area.

What does partial lumbarization of S1 bilaterally with possible bilateral lateral S1-S2 pseudoarthrosis. No acute fracture mean?
Female | 29
S1 shows partial lumbarization. This is indicative of an unusual section of your back. It may be responsible for the pain you feel in your lower back. If a bone does not go the way it is supposed to, it will join another bone and cause an immovable joint which is what S1 - S2 bilateral sacroiliitis refers to. If there is no sudden fracture then there is none. Try to have some rest; take mild painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen which can be bought over the counter at any pharmacy near you then after doing all this if it doesn’t work out fine consult a physiotherapist who will provide appropriate therapy for relief apart from doing exercises that are not too strenuous.
