I'm an 18 year old female, has an old unattended back injury from 10 years ago hurts from time to time recently has been feeling some chest pains and difficulty in breathing what could it be?
Female | 18
Judging from the information that you have given, your past back injury and these new symptoms could be linked. Often old injuries can be a cause of problems later. The chest pain and breathing problems may indeed be caused by your spine affecting the nerves and muscles in that part of your body. An orthopedist needs to check everything to make sure you are ok and that you feel better.

Male | 17
It looks like you may have broken your hand. A specific point may be very tender and the area can appear different from the other side. It is crucial to have an orthopedist look at this. They will confirm the diagnosis and give you the right treatment which may involve putting on a cast or splint so that the bone can heal properly. Make sure that it is checked as soon as possible so you can begin the recovery process.

I Got MRI done Of spine for some back pain puropse Can I get to know About my growth plates from that. As I can absorb I have a thin black line between vertibrals and white Between space between each vertribals.... I will be glad for you help doctor..
Male | 18
An MRI focuses on soft tissues and bones, including the condition of your spine, but it isn't specifically designed to assess growth plates, which are typically evaluated through X-rays. The thin black line you observed likely represents the intervertebral disc space, which contains fluid and can indicate health in that area. Back pain can arise from various factors, including muscle strain, posture issues, or disc problems. I recommend discussing your MRI results with your orthopedist, who can offer tailored advice and treatment options based on your specific situation.

I am Rahat Ullah from Mardan. Before 2.5 months I have accident on bike with Suzuki my bones were fracture tibia and fibula bone.now my foot upper side skin has deep wound and now that place has pain and swelling please recommend a cream for me.
Male | 23
The symptoms you're describing, including a deep wound and discomfort, may suggest an infection or improper healing after your fracture. It’s crucial to keep the area clean and dry. I recommend using a topical antibiotic ointment to help prevent infection, but please consult your orthopedist for a prescription that suits your specific needs. They can provide a thorough evaluation and ensure your recovery progresses smoothly.

Male | 22
It's quite common to have some discomfort after spine surgery. The pain in your leg could be due to nerve irritation or inflammation resulting from the surgery. In fact, sometimes the nerves need time to heal and settle down. To help manage the pain, make sure to follow your doctor's recommendations for pain relief medication and try gentle exercises to maintain flexibility. It's essential to stay in touch with your spine surgeon to monitor your progress and address any concerns that may arise.

Helo im 23 year old female i went gym for 4 months now im having left shoulder pain 1 week
Female | 23
Muscle overuse, tiredness, or wrong position during the exercise are among the main reasons for the pain in the left shoulder. The typical symptoms may include pain while moving, loss of flexibility, or general discomfort. To ease this, try to get a bit of rest and do the RICE treatment, which includes icing the area and gently stretching. Focus on mastering the technique of the exercise and only then increase the time and intensity. You can consult an orthopedist so they can list the appropriate therapy options and follow-up, which you can use to return to your usual training program.

Im a female 33 years old i suffer from scoliosis since birth and ive done 3 operation the last one was in 2004 which caused injury to my spinal cord. I can feel and walk with crutch and i can take one or two step without support, my right leg is more affected than my left. I read that only injuries less than one year or 2 is perfect for stem cells, my injury is 20 years old. Would it be possible for the stem cell therapy to work in my case ? Thank you
Female | 33
You are hoping stem cell therapy might help with your scoliosis. But stem cell therapy is still being studied and is not a normal treatment for back injuries yet. Since your injury happened a while ago, it may be less likely to work well. It is important to keep following your current treatment plan. You should talk to your orthopedist about any new therapies that might help you too.

1st Metatarsal bone fracture
Male | 26
A first metatarsal fracture may manifest itself in the form of pain and swelling, as well as walking difficulties. This kind of damage more often than not stems from physical traumas or overuse, especially in athletes. Normally, treatment is achieved using rest, ice, compression, and elevation to reduce swelling. An orthopedist might prescribe supportive shoes or a walking cast to keep the foot stable while healing. It’s very important not to do anything that could make things worse.

Hi, I have bursitis, but there is no pain, what to do to solve this problem?
Male | 40
Is bursitis without pain possible? Yes, it is but it can bother you a lot. Bursitis occurs due to the inflammation of bursae, a small, fluid-filled sac located at joints. It doesn't necessarily mean that you will feel pain. But if there is swelling or stiffness, you might feel like you have swollen a joint by doing a wrong workout. Swelling can be resolved by resting and applying ice packs. The best and most effective course is to avoid participating in things that enhance the swelled part. There is a possibility that it could not go away, and the advice of an orthopedist could be sought in this case!

Female | 16
The feeling of uneasiness in your legs due to wearing them out during physical activities is not a rare case caused by overuse, muscle fatigue, or even growing pains at your age. Warm-up workouts, proper hydration, and gradual intensification of exercise are the main elements for you. In the case of physical effort, stretching can also be helpful. If symptoms persist consult an orthopedist.
