I am a 20 year old female. I had missed a step and fallen down on ground two days ago (I think I twisted my left ankle but I don't remember clearly). After that I have trouble putting weight on my left leg. It doesn't hurt when I am resting and even movement is possible. But whenever I walk, there is some sort of pull near the left ankle and it hurts whenever I try to put weight on it. I have done ice compresses and elevated it but still it pains whenever I walk. Is it a mild ankle sprain? what should i do next?

Consult a Physiotherapist if no relief then consult an Orthopedic.

Hi, I fell on my elbow, had an inflamed tendon preventing me from extending my arm fully for a couple of weeks and an infection, the wound took 2 months to heal as it got infected but did heal up fine, it was xrayed and all seemed fine. It's now been 8 months, the point of my elbow doesn't feel as smooth as the other one now, it hurts more when I bang that elbow, it hurts when I do specific exercises like press ups or bicep curls and tricep overhead extensions (those hurt the most), the pain is like a strong stinging pain. I wanted to ask if this sounds like any specific injury or condition?
Male | 28
You could have developed bursitis, an inflamed condition of the sacs cushioning your joints. When these sacs become irritated, movements might cause pain. Ice packs may help, as can avoiding aggravating activities and gentle stretches. However, if pain persists, consult an orthopedist. They'll properly assess and recommend next steps for managing this elbow issue.

Had left body pain from shoulder to toe
Male | 22
Having pain from shoulder down to toe seems uncomfortable. A pinched nerve may cause this pain. A nerve gets pressed or squeezed, thus leading to this issue. Move gently, avoid activities increasing pain. If pain persists, visit an orthopedist for proper advice and treatment.

Hi doctor, i am 29 years old 55 kg . I met a accident 5 months ago and i fractured my l2- l4 transverse process. And comminuted fracture of l5 . And my arm bone fracture. I lose my head orientation for 2 months because of head injury and i stay on bedrest at that time. Then i feel no pain when my brain was oriented for 3 months. Then i had my arm x-ray and it was bone non union. Doctor advised me for bone graft surgery that i adapted. Just after surgery i feel lumbar pain and i am feeling this pain come and go from 3 weeks after my surgery. I want to know about this pain and how to get rid of this?
Male | 29
Lumbar pain after a bone graft surgery is a normal occurrence. This discomfort can be attributed to the fact that the tissues of the wounded area and before surgery the bone protrudes below the spine instead of being healed. It is important to sustain the gentle movement of the vertebrae to prevent being immobile as compared to before these strenuous activities. You can also use warm compresses and simple stretching to help reduce pain. You should see an orthopedist to diagnose the problem and give appropriate medication.

These kinds of feelings can sometimes be due to conditions like swollen glands, throat infections, or even acid reflux. It's essential to have it checked out by an ENT specialist to rule out anything serious. In the meantime, try to stay hydrated, avoid spicy foods, and consider using a warm compress on your neck for some relief.

I have sever hip pain left side

Your left hip hurts badly, possibly due to injury, arthritis, bursitis, or overworking the muscles. Rest your hip, ice it if it's swollen, and take over-the-counter pain relievers. If the pain persists, visit an orthopedist.

Male | 36
You seem to have a Frozen Shoulder, a condition when the shoulder joint tissue becomes tight, causing pain. Stem cell treatment research is ongoing, making it an uncommon solution currently. The advisable step is to consult an orthopedist for appropriate exercises, physical therapy, or medications. These can alleviate pain and enhance shoulder mobility.

Bone fracture in left leg
Male | Ajay
fractures can happen due to falls, accidents, or even from overuse. In fact, they're quite common and usually heal well with proper care. The first step is to get it checked by a orthopedist to determine the extent of the fracture. They might recommend imaging tests like an X-ray. Depending on the severity, treatment could involve wearing a cast, surgery, or physical therapy.

Now after I opened my finger supporter i am having pain in my fracture area a normal pain but in my school something hit it and now it is paining little bit sharper and now 2 days done without the supporter.
Male | 15
It is common to feel more pain if you have been without a supporter for some days. It is necessary to let your finger sit still for a while and then you can apply the cold pack to the injured area to decrease any swelling. If the pain persists or worsens, you should consult an orthopedist.

Hi Doctor, I had a minor accident from bike due to which my left shoulder is impacted. Its been 4 days i dont have a smooth movement of my left shoulder as i'm trying to raise hand and bring it down experiencing pain on rotator cuff. There is no pain if hand is still and not in motion....What do you suggest doctor I shoulder do
Female | 42
The pain that you feel during the motion is likely to be a result of strain or edema in the muscles or tendons that encircle the joint. When it happens in the shoulder, ice the area and take an over-the-counter medication such as aspirin or ibuprofen. Progressively introduce gentle workouts that at the same time help your functional mobility and reduce pain. You can consult an orthopedist.

I am 20 years old man andi dislocated by ring finger while playing cricket, i think its broken and i can't bend my finger
Male | 20
It might be true if you have been suffering pain, looking at the swelling, and unable to bend the finger. A difficult event such as a strong impact or force is usually the reason for its occurrence. At this point, you should cease all activities, place ice on the area, and raise your hand. Medical attention by an orthopedist must be given so that the treatment will be done correctly.

Why do I have such bad knee pain? Everytime I hit my knee or even just rest something on my knee I get a shoot of pain in my knee that won't go away for at least a minute
Female | 20
The condition you describe might be patellar tendinitis. It happens when the tendon connecting your kneecap and shinbone gets inflamed. Overuse like repeatedly hitting your knee can cause this. Resting your knee, icing it, and doing gentle knee-strengthening exercises can help. However, if pain persists, see an orthopedist for evaluation.

Sound from joints specially from leg joint Black line on the nails now spreading on other nails also Dark eye circles
Male | 20
Two things seem to trouble you. Let's address them one by one. Your leg joints are making sounds, which is normal. It happens when air bubbles pop or tendons slide over bones. The black lines spreading on your nails could indicate a skin condition or lack of nutrients. Lack of sleep, stress, or allergies may cause dark circles under eyes. To improve these, eat a nutrient-rich diet. Manage stress well. Get adequate sleep. Moisturize nails. If issues persist, consult an orthopedist.

One week ago I have minor hairline fracture in toe can I continue my dancing cause it's very urgent or advise me some advise to take care of toe before and after dancing
Female | 18
A hairline fracture in your toe can be pretty painful but , it's a common injury, especially in dancers. Dancing puts a lot of pressure on your feet, so it's important to take care of that toe. Before you start dancing, make sure to wear comfortable, supportive shoes and maybe consider taping your toe for extra support. After dancing, remember to rest, ice the toe, elevate it, and maybe take some over-the-counter pain medication if needed. And most importantly, listen to your body. If it hurts too much, it's best to take a break and let it heal properly. If the pain persists or gets worse, it's a good idea to see an orthopedist for further evaluation.
