Your case might be pneumonia. It can make you cough up thick, pinkish mucus and can also cause pain in the left part of the chest when you lie down. You might also have trouble breathing while sleeping. Pneumonia is an infection that triggers inflammation in the air sacs in your lungs. You have to refer a pulmonologist for the best diagnosis and treatment.

I have fever from last 3 days and headache and cough
Female | 30
A viral infection could explain your fever, headache, and cough. Fevers help fight infections. Headaches and coughs often come with viruses too. Rest up and drink lots of fluids. Acetaminophen can ease fever and headache pain. But if symptoms linger or worsen, see a pulmonologist promptly.

I've been coughing for more than 3 weeks and sometimes I find it hard to breathe
Female | 22
It seems like you’re having a hard time. Not being able to breathe well and coughing for more than 3 weeks is strange. A bad cold or even asthma can cause these problems. But it could also mean that there’s something wrong with your lungs. If you don’t take care of it right away, then you might have even more trouble later on. Usually, you’ll need drugs that help you breathe better and cure any infection. So I think seeing a pulmonologist as soon as possible would be the best thing to do.

I'm having cough especially while sleeping it gets more it never leaves to sleep
Female | 30
Night-time coughing can disturb your sleep. It might be caused by irritants in the air or conditions like post-nasal drip or acid reflux. Either way, it’s frustrating! You can try propping your head up while you sleep, and a humidifier might help, too. Staying hydrated is also a good idea. However, if the coughing doesn’t go away, talk to a pulmonologist about it.

Heavy dry cough last 2 hours
Female | 20
A heavy, dry cough can happen for various reasons. Maybe you caught a cold. Or, maybe you have allergies. Some irritants in the air might be causing it. For relief, drink warm liquids like tea with honey. A humidifier could help too, by making the air less dry. However, if the coughing persists, it's wise to consult a pulmonologist. They'll examine you and guide managing this annoying symptom.

Chest pain, fatigue ECG is normal, echo test is normal, blood test is normal but chest xray is foggy appearnce and black dot is present in left side of the lungs
Male | 60
Your health tests came back normal which is good. However, the strange spots on the x-ray raise some concern. Those might show an infection like pneumonia. Antibiotics can help treat that condition. Do visit your pulmonologist again for more tests and proper treatment.

I want to pass an exerm of my chest scan currently i am feeling with flu or colds i am using flucloxacillin and Ampicillin together so how can i know with i am fit for the scanning
Male | 25
It's important to inform your healthcare provider about any medications you're taking, especially antibiotics like flucloxacillin and ampicillin, as they may affect the results of your chest scan. Your doctor will advise you on whether it's safe to proceed with the scan while on these medications, considering your current health condition. Always follow your doctor's guidance regarding medical procedures.

Hi dr I’m asthma from childhood I use seretide 500/50 vantoline lumenta 10 mg Last week I will visit chest dr he give me azit 500 mg 3 day per week I have chest ct scan and X-ray normal I have cough my left side and sometimes sound
Male | 50
You use Seretide and Ventoline to help your symptoms. The cough on your left side might be from asthma. It's good that the CT scan and X-ray of your chest were normal. Your chest doctor likely gave you the antibiotic Azit to fight lung infections. Take all the pills until they're gone, like the doctor said. If the cough gets worse or doesn't go away, see your pulmonologist again. They can check it out and give you a different treatment if needed.

Male | 7
Your son has been suffering from a chest cough and high fever for the last five years. This is often caused by recurrent respiratory infections, which are common for young children. To help your son, you can consult a pediatric pulmonologist. This doctor is a specialist in the treatment of respiratory problems in children. They will be able to provide more specialized care and guidance to manage these recurrent episodes.

My name is Amal 31 years old. I have some breathing problem and using Serflo 125 synchrobreathe. now in heavy rain i have cold and cough please suggest best medicine for nebulizer
Male | 31
Serflo 125 synchrobreathe is good but you need something more. You may want to try using Budecort respules with your nebulizer. These will help reduce any swelling inside your air passages which should make them wider and easier to breathe through. Do not forget about following the prescribed dosage exactly as instructed. But do visit your doctor before starting the medication.

Female | 25
You have a wet cough with yellow-green mucus and a stuffy nose, but no sore throat, correct? This could be a respiratory infection like a cold. The mucus color shows your body is fighting an infection. Drink lots of fluids. Get plenty of rest. Keep taking Montek LC. If symptoms persist or worsen, see a pulmonologist.

I am a woman and have had a severe cold for about a week now.
Female | 22
A persistent cold can be troublesome, with runny noses, coughing, sneezing, sore throats, and fatigue. Viruses spread these common illnesses between people. Rest, hydrate, and consider over-the-counter remedies for relief. Gargling warm saltwater soothes sore throats. Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or persist beyond a week.

I had dry cough sometimes and feels sinuses pressure after eating especially forehead
Male | 28
Post-nasal drip could cause your discomfort. Excess mucus draining down your throat can make you cough and feel sinus pressure around your forehead area. Food consumption might trigger it. Staying hydrated by drinking water regularly, and using saline nasal spray, could alleviate these symptoms.

I am using beclomethasone dipropionate and levosalbutamol sulphate rotocaps for my asthama i have asthma since i was 3 years old and that much of long term i am using it from 5 months facing severe asthama and using the rotocaps in frequently and i am losing my body weight very fastly and it is very tough to me to gain weight and my penis size also decreasing and also sperm low quantity is that the side effects for using it in long term and tell me the perfect solution for all me questions to over come it and live healthy without medication
Male | 22
It appears that you may be experiencing some worrying side effects as a result of using beclomethasone dipropionate and levosalbutamol sulfate rotocaps for your asthma. Rapid weight loss, reduced penis size, and low semen volume can be linked to these drugs’ long-term usage. These particular adverse reactions are probably caused by the steroids contained in the medication affecting your system. Hence, you should inform your physician about them so they can prescribe you a more suitable treatment plan for your asthma which won’t have these effects. Besides, the doctor might also recommend ways of gaining weight and supporting overall well-being.

I believe I have a pretty nasty cold or possibly flu-lke virus and i just want to make sure that my symptoms dont require further medical intervention. It started Friday night 03/22/24 with a severe sore throat, post nasal drip, and diarrhea. The progression of symptoms has gone from severe throat pain to pain and congestion/runniness and dry bloody sinuses with a sinus headache, to some sinus congestion/runniness with coughing. I do not have a sore throat now and i dont have diarrhea but i do have nausea which ive had the whole time but it seems a little worse now, and i have significant fatigue and muscle weakness. My eyes are also dry and crusty and very bloodshot. Im not really having trouble breathing, and ive had a very low grade fever/no fever throughout the entire duration of this illness.
Female | 23
It appears a viral infection, like flu, troubles you. The sore throat, post nasal drip, diarrhea, sinus issues, cough, nausea, and fatigue - all common viral signs. Stay hydrated well; rest up properly; use saline rinses or OTC meds for symptomatic reprieve. If symptoms worsen or concerns arise, consult a pulmonologist promptly.

Want to know how it transfer tuberculosis from a patient who has been having treatment for more than 6 month to another working in the same team.
Male | 43
Tuberculosis spreads through the air from coughs or sneezes. If your teammate's treatment exceeds six months, transmission risk decreases. Watch for persistent coughing, fever, and weight loss. See a pulmonologist if symptoms arise. Cover coughs, wash hands frequently - good hygiene prevents TB spread.
