Questions & Answers on "Polycystic Ovary Syndrome In Adolescence" (5141)

Im a 26 years female . I have pcod and painful periods . I went to a doc two months back she gave me yasmin Which is a kind of contraceptive I couldn't Take it then I went to another doc he gave me normoz. I got periods on time from that day but the pain is extreme during periods that I feel like dying . I have to go for injections as medicine doesnt work. I am getting weak also plus body hair what should I do ? My another concern is that yesterday was my Ist day of period . I had make out with my boyfriend no penetration or ejaculation just rubbing . what is the chances of me getting pregnant. I know it is a lame question as There is no chance but for The sake of anxiety and concern I had to ask this. And if there is any chance what Should I do for not getting pregnant ? Kindly revert back as Im very anxious .

Female | 26

Extreme period pain can be caused by disorders like PCOD, which may also explain the body hair you mentioned. To manage the pain, try warm baths, gentle exercise, and over-the-counter pain relievers. Regarding pregnancy, the chances of penetration or ejaculation are extremely low.

Doc, is it possible for me to get pregnant if I got pregnant on April 12 then we had sex on April 21 and now I have brown spotting that happens on the due date of my period, what does that mean?

Female | 20

It is highly unlikely to get pregnant just nine days after conceiving on April 12. Brown spotting around the expected period date can have various causes unrelated to pregnancy, such as hormonal changes. However it's best to consult a your doctor for personalized evaluation and advice.

Period is 9 days late, I'm tired, bloated, gassy, headaches

Female | 25

LATE PERIOD could indicate PREGNANCY or HORMONAL CHANGES.... FATIGUE and BLOATING are common PMS symptoms.... GASSINESS is also typical in PMS or DIGESTIVE ISSUES.... HEADACHES could be due to HORMONAL CHANGES or STRESS... Take a PREGNANCY TEST to rule out pregnancy... Manage symptoms with REST, EXERCISE, and a BALANCED DIET... Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen...
